According to reports, Rickie Fowler's wife, Allison Stokke grew up in Newport Beach, California. She is a former gymnast who began pole vaulting as a freshman at Newport High School. During her senior year, Allison was reportedly ranked second in the state as well as the nation for pole vaulting.

For those unaware, Allison's now-husband, Rickie, is also from California and was raised east of Newport Beach, in a place called Murrieta. Posting a photo from when they were still dating, Allison wrote, “Just a couple of Southern California kids always looking for the beach.” She alluded to their California roots again in a 2018 post from her family and Rickie's holiday celebration, captioning it, “California Christmas 2018.”

When Allison Stokke was still in high school, she was recruited by several prestigious colleges like Harvard, Stanford and UCLA. However, she ultimately committed to the University of California, Berkeley, a.k.a UC Berkeley. Here, Allison competed in the college's track and field team as a pole vaulter. Reportedly, in 2008, she succeeded in breaking a freshman record in college and as a junior, she placed fifth at the Pac-10 championships. Years later, in 2017, Allison returned to Berkeley with Rickie Fowler. At the time, the pro golfer wrote on his social media, “Our tour continued to Cal for @allisonstokke’s homecoming…thank you for showing me your stomping grounds!! I met some amazing people and look forward to getting back soon!”

As you might have already guessed, Allison Stokke has a pretty successful collegiate pole vaulting career. Even after graduating, she continued to pole vault for a number of fitness brands, including Nike, Athleta, and even GoPro. In 2012, Allison tried to qualify for the London Olympics, but despite her efforts, she did not complete the qualifying jump.

Back in 2007, when Allison was still a teenager, her pole vaulting pictures went viral. At the time, the snaps were shared across several sports platforms and blogs, which mostly had male audiences, leading to comments sexualising her. The buzz was so hard to ignore that even major publications like The New York Times and The Washington Post covered it.
While speaking to the Los Angeles Times, Allison revealed that the unwanted attention felt “a little creepy,” even though she did her best to ignore the vulgar comments. Revealing more of her thoughts on the matter to The Washington Post, she stated:
"Even if none of it is illegal, it just all feels really demeaning. I worked so hard for pole vaulting and all this other stuff, and it's almost like that doesn't matter. Nobody sees that. Nobody really sees me."

Allison and Rickie sparked romance rumours in 2017 when the latter posted a picture with his now-wife. He captioned the snap which was taken at the Circuit of the Americas race track in Texas, “I won!” Interestingly, Allison posted a photo from the same event with the caption, “We tied?”

According to a report by People, Rickie Fowler proposed to Allison on the beach in 2018. Announcing the engagement, Allison wrote on Instagram, “Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And happy national best friend day to my best best best friend! I love you!!!” Allison and Rickie tied the knot next year, on October 5, 2019, during a beach wedding in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Posting a picture of them exchanging vows, Allison wrote, “It just keeps getting better!”
Over the years of their marriage, Rickie and Allison have welcomed two children. On November 18, 2021, the couple welcomed their first daughter whom they lovingly named Maya Fowler. At the time, the pro golfer took to his Instagram and wrote, “As you can see, Allison & I are beyond thankful…a whole new meaning to life!!” In August 2024, Allison and Rickie celebrated the birth of their second daughter, Nellie. Once again, Rickie took to his IG to share the happy news, writing:
"Right where I'm supposed to be. Welcome to the crew, Nellie.”
