Daniella Tarantino, who is widely known as filmmaker, Quentin Tarantino’s wife, was reportedly born as Daniella Pick on November 21, 1983, in Ramat Ha-Sharon, Israel. Her father, Svika Pick, was an Israeli pop star and was widely known as 'The Maestro.' Svika was quite popular in the 1970s and later also became a television personality. Daniella has a sister named Sharona. The sister duo popularly known as 'Pick Sisters' followed their father’s footsteps. At the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest, the sister duo sang their original song, Hello, Hello.

Later, Daniella pursued a solo career and released songs, including More or Less, and No One. Besides her music career, Daniella has also tried her luck in modelling and acting. She did a small role in her husband, Quentin’s Golden Globe-winning 2019 film, Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood. She also appeared on the reality show, Goalstar. Daniella and Quentin first crossed paths in her home country of Israel, when he was on a promotional spree for his film, Inglourious Bast**ds. In a 2022 interview with radio host, Howard Stern, the filmmaker recalled his first meeting with Daniella. However, after their first meeting went their separate ways. Quentin was quoted as saying:

"I was in Israel for the premiere of 'Inglorious Bastards' in Tel Aviv, and I met her in a club. We danced all night, we danced for three hours. I've never had this kind of party before, and I've been to some great parties, but not like this. Daniella is to die for. She's a beauty, and her dad was Israel's most famous pop singer, Svika Pick. Everyone knows who she is, she grew up in the limelight, she's like a princess. But we let things drift. I continued to live my life and she, hers."

In the same interview, Quentin shared how they met six years after their first meeting. At the time, Daniella had a breakup with her then-boyfriend. When the filmmaker met his now-wife, Daniella, on a cruise six years after their first meeting, they decided to meet again. He was quoted as saying:

"Six years later, I went on a cruise that I was invited to, and I met a friend of the Pick family there... She called Daniella and said to me: 'I just talked to her, and it turns out she just broke up with her boyfriend. So when you're done with the cruise, call her.' We decided to meet again, without making any promises, we didn't know what was going to happen. I think we prepared for it to work. We met in Paris, and we've been together ever since."

In 2017, Quentin proposed to Daniella. In November 2018, Quentin and Daniella got married at their Los Angeles home. The couple had an intimate wedding ceremony. After two years of their marriage, the duo welcomed their first child, son Leo, on February 22, 2020. Later, on July 2, 2022, they welcomed their second child, a baby girl.

Calling the filmmaker charming, caring and professional, Quentin shared that it was great to work with him. She was quoted as saying:

"When Quentin shoots a movie, it's a big deal. Obviously, I take an active part in it, and it influences all the atmosphere at home. It's a very intensive half a year and every day is very important. It's like being with someone who is training for the Olympics, or as Quentin always says, it's like climbing Everest. Quentin is a champion at that. He is so charming, caring and professional. He makes everyone feel great on the set. It made me feel really proud to see that."
