Meet Milana Vayntrub: Actress Behind USD 500,000 Donation To LA Fire Victims, Inspired By OnlyFans?

If you are someone who is chronically online like the rest of us, you surely couldn't have missed Milana Vayntrub capturing all the media headlines as of late. The actress, comedian, and activist is widely recognised for her character 'Lily Adams' in AT&T commercials. While her character is widely loved, being in the spotlight for as long as she has does come with its share of cons. For one, Milana became the victim of online harassment, especially when it came to her body. However, being the icon that she is, she quickly turned this unwelcome attention into something positive by launching her platform, Only Philanthropy.

For those wondering, it is a mutual aid platform that encourages the commercial star's followers to donate to a cause of her choice. They can do this in exchange for flirty (but not explicit) photos, turning it into a win-win situation for both Milana and her fans. Recently, the actress revealed that she has managed to raise USD 500,000 to help those affected by the Los Angeles wildfires, which we saw at the beginning of 2025. If this has made you curious to know more about the commercial star, from her career to her growing net worth, here's everything we know.

Milana Vayntrub's early life and career

Milana Vayntrub

Milana was born in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, on March 8, 1987. However, they decided to move in 1989 after restrictions eased and prosecution against Jewish communities intensified. Following this, they settled in Los Angeles, California, where Milana began acting at the tender age of five. One of her earliest TV roles was playing 'Tatiana' in the first season of ER.

Melania was formally trained in theatre and comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade (UCB). Later, she also created a successful YouTube channel, LivePrudeGirls, in 2011, which has earned more than 15 million views. Milana's on-screen presence and comedic style were so strong that they helped her secure work, be it on television, in commercials, or on online platforms. Her big break, however, came in 2013 when she was 26 years old and landed the role of 'Lily Adams' for a national AT&T commercial. Her mildly comical interactions with strangers at an AT&T store entertained viewers for four years straight. Milana took a short break from her duties as the brand's spokesperson in 2017 and ventured out by directing commercials instead.

She returned once again to people's screens in 2020 during the COVID-19 lockdowns. One might think that Milana's second stint as 'Lily' would once again charm viewers, but that wasn't the case; soon enough, she started receiving lecherous comments online. Most of them targeted her body, and soon enough, the harassment spilt over to her personal life. In addition to her social media accounts being targeted, many of her personal photos were shared online. Furthermore, a number of spammy websites even promised access to explicit videos featuring her, videos that clearly did not exist. As a result, Milana decided to hide her body, stating:

While Milana initially reacted by hiding her body, she has come a long way since then. Now, she has decided to boldly turn the unwelcome attention into something positive, claiming that she will use “the male gaze to fight the blaze.” And this she did by launching her new platform, Only Philanthropy, which calls upon women to mobilise their audiences into “powerful, purpose-driven communities.” The platform's official page reads:

“We've now proven the model: influence and creativity can transform followers into donors and fandom into a force for good.”

Raising over 500,000 USD with her platform

Although Milana launched her platform as a joke after seeing the success of creators on OnlyFans, her ‘no nudity' platform has also been a complete hit, especially given the funds she has raised for various causes. In her first campaign, in exchange for her flirty photos, Milana raised a total of USD 190,000 in just four days. With her second campaign for disabled individuals and families affected by the January 2025 Eaton Canyon fire in Atlanta, the actress raised over USD 370,000 in one week. However, her most successful campaign to date was for the LA wildfires that we saw at the start of 2025. For this, she successfully managed to raise a whopping half a million dollars in funds. Milana took to her official Instagram account on December 9, 2025, to announce the same and asked for suggestions on which causes to support next. In her post, she wrote:

“Real money, real impact, right where it makes the biggest difference. This is the best thing I have ever been part of.”
