Mikayla revealed the details in a video posted on June 12, 2026, saying that she had an emergency appendix removal surgery. Mikayla later shared an update after her discharge, saying that she had to suffer from a lot of pain while returning to Massachusetts. Notably, the pain did not stop for a long time.

Cody Hawken has been active in a completely different field

While Mikayla Nogueira is a popular face in the world of social media, Cody Hawken’s work is very different. He is currently a sales support representative at Gallagher Sales Associates. Cody joined the company in January 2023, and it represents the manufacturers in the electrical industry, offering the best sales and marketing in New England. Cody’s responsibilities include creating price quotes, responding to pending inquiries, forming relationships with the clientele, and more.

Cody Hawken previously worked at Tripp Construction from 2021 to 2022 as a fence installer. He used to install chain link, wood fence, and other things, and he could install four to six fences per week. In 2022, he joined McCusker-Gill Inc. as a sheet metal apprentice. During his time with the company, Cody had the opportunity to work on multiple projects, including “The Track” at the New Balance in Boston, Massachusetts.

Cody Hawken has battled with his addiction issues in the past

Apart from having a successful career, Cody Hawken has struggled with his addiction to drugs and alcohol. He even entered a rehab for treatment in April 2025, which was revealed by Mikayla Nogueira in a TikTok video. Mikayla said that her then-husband suffered twice with a relapse. Notably, the video was in response to Cody’s absence for a long time. Mikayla stated that she was trying to be brave while facing a very tough phase in her life. She continued by saying:

“As many of you have noticed for the last several months, Cody really has not been around, and now you know why, a lot of you have put two and two together.”

Mikayla said that she has known the concept of addiction and knows everything about addicts. However, this was a different experience, considering that she was married to an addict. Mikayla added an update for everyone, stating that Cody’s treatment was over and she was waiting to welcome him.

Cody Hawken and Mikayla Nogueira were married for more than two years

Cody Hawken and Mikayla Nogueira’s first meeting dates back to December 2020. The duo found each other on Tinder. Mikayla once said in an interview that although they were matched on the dating platform, they did not meet each other for a long time until January 2021. Mikayla stated that she was not sure about Cody because she had a habit of being with bad guys. However, Mikayla discovered that Cody was completely the opposite.

Around ten months after their first meeting, Cody and Mikayla got engaged in November 2021. They tied the knot in a wedding ceremony held in Rhode Island, which was attended by their family and close friends in July 2023. However, Mikayla revealed her separation from Cody in a TikTok video in February 2026. Mikayla even requested people not to link the matter with Cody’s addiction problems and that the reason for the split is only known to them for now.
