Meet 'Love Island USA' Season 8's Kayda Bosse, Bombshell Who Shook Up The Villa With First Shuffle

Love Island USA Season 8 is here, and fans have been hooked since episode 1. As the Islanders attempt to find their suitable partners, it's safe to say the drama has already made things extremely interesting. And now, as the Love Island USA bombshells work hard to make an impression on the OG Islanders and viewers, there was only so much time before the pot was shaken. Yes! Kicking off the first couple shuffle is none other than the very gorgeous Kayda Bosse, who has made the first flash as the new girl by stealing Zach Georgiou.

Kayda Bosse joined Love Island USA Season 8 as a bombshell and has already given fans a glimpse of the blasts she has in store for them and Inslanders. Especially because she was involved in Episode 2's Paradise Cove twist, during which she had to share a bed with two Islanders. And to put it lightly, let's just say it was a memorable introduction. However, now that Kayda is settling into the villa with Zach Georgiou, let's take a deep dive into Kayda's background. 

Who is Kayda Bosse?

The latest addition to Love Island USA Season 8, Kayda Bosse, is a 22-year-old bombshell addition to the show. She is one of the youngest contestants in the villa and is all set to find her perfect match without letting her younger age affect her confidence. In a voiceover for Love Island USA, Kayda called herself a 10 out of 10 and asserted that the men in the villa would be falling to their knees for her. Kayda also clarified that she is not afraid to step on a few toes to get what she wants, and, hence, the girls should watch out. In the voice-over, Kayda was quoted as saying:

"I'm 10 out of 10. These men are gonna fall to their knees for me. I'm in my player mode. These other girls should definitely watch out. I'm gonna step on toes if I have to."

Further, talking about where Kayda Bosse is from, it has been revealed that she is from New Hampshire. However, her hometown was not a part of her introduction, keeping some mystery to her roots and background. What was interesting to note was that Kayda didn't think Islanders actually knew where it was on the map. Well, most did. Nonetheless, while we might not know where she is from, a little digging into her social media has revealed that she attended high school in Manchester.

Kayda Bosse also has the Haitian flag in her TikTok bio, where she has over 130,000 followers. Talking about Instagram, Kayda has 51.2K followers. She has Haitian roots on her dad's side, while her mom is of mixed German and Irish descent, she shared during the show.

What does Kayda Bosse do for a living?

In Episode 2 of Love Island USA Season 8, Kayda Bosse revealed that she worked as a server. She explained that she has also dabbled in a bit of modelling in New York, but didn't enjoy the fast pace. However, her name is also on an NCSA college recruiting profile, which says she played basketball in high school and graduated in 2023. According to her player bio:

"I've been playing basketball since I learned how to walk. My dad taught me everything I know. He played college basketball and still plays. I'm very serious about basketball and academics. As a teammate, I make everyone feel like they belong. I'm a very smiley and happy person, but when it comes to basketball, I always come ready to play."
