American rapper, singer, and record producer, Kanye West a.k.a. Ye, is no stranger to headlines. Although he started his music career in the late '90s, he caught the public's eye after becoming a producer for Jay-Z's Roc-A-Fella Records in the year 2000. After signing with the same label as a recording artist, in 2004, Kanye released his debut album, The College Dropout, marking the start of his lengthy discography. Some of his most memorable solo studio albums include My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy (2010), Yeezus (2013), Ye (2018), Jesus Is King (2019), and Donda 2 (2022). Recently, Kanye West has been grabbing all the attention after making a move that nobody saw coming. Reportedly, he took out an ad in The Wall Street Journal to apologise for his past erratic and alarming behaviour, which had disappointed many of his fans. It is worth noting that even after Kanye was criticised for his behaviour and rampant antisemitism, one person who has stuck by his side is his current wife, Bianca Censori. According to People, Kanye West's wife, Bianca Censori, is originally from Melbourne, Australia. However, she currently resides in Los Angeles with her husband in their USD 35 million Beverly Hills mansion. During a June 2022 conversation with Vogue Australia, Bianca opened up about how she tends to split her time between L.A. and Melbourne. She was quoted as saying: 

"The pandemic was the first time in a long time a lot of Australian creatives were brought back to one place. Melbourne felt like this melting pot of global creativity. People began to cross disciplines and collaborate in ways I hadn't experienced before. In Melbourne, I can cultivate my creativity, and L.A. is where I apply it."

If reports are believed to be true, Kanye West's wife, Bianca Censori, grew up with a love for art. In 2021, during a casual conversation with Hypebeast, she confessed that she had always wanted to be a sculptor. Her education reflects the same, as Bianca earned a Bachelor's degree in architecture from the University of Melbourne, where she studied from 2013 to 2017. She returned to university once again in 2017, this time to earn her Master's degree in the same field. Bianca explained that to her, “architecture is the union of art and pragmatics.” She further added that it is “the grandest artistic gesture that we can place into the earth.” She was drawn to architecture purely as a shift in artistic scale.

A quick glance at Bianca Censori's LinkedIn profile reveals that she works as an architectural designer for Kanye West's fashion brand, Yeezy. Reportedly, even before she found herself dating the rapper, she had been an employee for the brand since November 2020. This has led many people to believe that working for Yeezy is how she first met her now-husband, Kanye West.  

However, it is worth noting that before Bianca started working at Yeezy, she had held a number of roles at various places. For instance, Bianca worked as a student architect at DP Toscano Architects and as a design consultant at a company called Kelektiv. To top it off, Bianca reportedly had her own jewellery company, which she named Nylons. Talking about the inspiration behind creating the brand, during an interview with i-D in 2016, she said that she started the brand after “laying around with mesh, then putting crystals inside the meshing, just making really simple, thin chokers.” Bianca added: 

"I started selling those, and from there it slowly kept growing. Once I started architecture, I still wanted some sort of creative outlet, so I kept making jewellery as something to do on the side, and it grew into a business!"

It has been a few years since Kanye West and Bianca Censori tied the knot. Back in January 2023, reports surfaced suggesting that the rapper had tied the knot with his then-girlfriend and now-wife, Bianca Censori, in a private ceremony without an official marriage license. However, doubts regarding the legitimacy of their marriage were put to rest when in October of the same year, The Daily Mail claimed to have discovered a document with Kanye and Bianca's date of marriage listed as December 20, 2022. The report from the publication stated that the wedding was performed under a “confidential marriage” licence. For those unversed, it basically means that even though their marriage did not become a matter of public record, it is still a legally binding document.

Many fans believe that Kanye and Bianca have known each other since she started working at the rapper's company. This is why, although reports of them being together surfaced in January 2023, many speculated that Kanye's song, Censori Overload, which he released in December 2022, was meant as a nod to his lady-love's last name. Later, in April 2025, Kanye West dropped a song called BIANCA where he suggested that his wife had left him after his controversial social media rants. However, the couple seemed to have reconciled when he and Bianca were spotted a month later enjoying a dinner date in Spain.
