José Ramírez is one of the biggest names when it comes to professional baseball. He is best known as the third baseman for the Cleveland Guardians of Major League Baseball (MLB). Initially, he began his career as an international free agent for the Cleveland Indians in 2009 and made his debut in the MLB a few years later, in 2013. On top of being a seven-time All-Star, José has managed to snag the prestigious Silver Slugger Award six times. Who is José Ramírez’s wife, Rosedith Almonte? 

As die-hard fans of José Ramírez might already know, he comes from a family in Bani, the Dominican Republic. Similar to him, José's wife, Rosedith Almonte, also hails from his native hometown. Because of this, it is believed that she knew her husband, José, even before he became famous. As José continued to make strides in his baseball career, at the time, Rosedith took the opportunity to go study in the United States. According to a report by Sportskeeda, she attended Cuyahoga Community College in Cleveland, Ohio.

Following this, she continued at Florida's Keiser University, where she went on to graduate as a digital creator. Even as both José and Rosedith's lives started changing little by little, the pair remained close. Over time, as fate would have it, their friendship of many years turned into love, and they finally decided to tie the knot. It is worth mentioning that neither José nor his wife have publicly revealed when and where they got married.

“Yeah, (being a dad made me a better person). My life changed after my kid came here. Sometimes, I'm 0-for-3. Sometimes, I'm angry. When I go home, I'll be happy because my niña says, ‘Hola, papi!’ Changed my life.”
