The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star, Jessi Draper, spent most of season 3 trying to fix things with her husband, Jordan Ngatikaura. And fans had even hoped the couple could mend things in season 4. However, it seems Jordan didn't agree with the fans, as he has now filed for divorce from Jessi after over five years of marital bliss.
As if The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives fans were not done with Taylor Frankie Paul's ongoing drama, they are now faced with Jessi's divorce. So, as the fans navigate through another shocker, let's take a quick look at who Jessi's soon-to-be ex-husband, Jordan, is.

According to a report by TMZ, Jordan Ngatikaura filed for divorce from Jessi Draper after 5 years of marriage on Thursday, March 19, 2026 (ET). The media outlet obtained the court documents and confirmed the news. Later, in a statement to TMZ, the couple shared that the decision hasn't been easy for them and requested privacy from their fans. The statement could be read as:
"This has not been an easy decision, and it comes with a heavy heart. I’m grateful for the shared memories and the lessons. While our paths are now moving in different directions, my priority remains my children and ensuring they feel loved, supported, and protected through this transition."

Jordan Ngatikaura is best known for his appearance on The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives alongside his wife, Jessi Draper. The couple found themselves in rough water after their relationship took a toll, following a bombshell allegation that Jessi had been unfaithful. Born in St. George, Utah, Jordon's age is unclear, but he is believed to be around Jessi's age as well. As for where he's from, the reality star hails from the Cook Islands. Jordon's last name, Ngatikaura, is of Maori origin, suggesting he has deep roots in the Cook Islands. His grandfather was reportedly born in Aitutaki and was a prominent member of the community before moving to Hawaii and then Utah.

His appearance on SLOMW isn't the only thing Jordan Ngatikaura is up to; in his professional life, he works as a manager at the solar company Rise Energy in Lehi, Utah. According to his LinkedIn profile, Jordon has has worked there since 2021. He also has a decent social media following as part of the DadTok group. According to reports, Jordon and Jessi met through a mutual friend, and later reconnected when both were single. While few details of their early relationship are known, the couple tied the knot on October 8, 2020. It was Jessi's second marriage, with the star previously being married to a man named Zach. Jessi and Jordan soon welcomed three children together, including a son named Jagger who is five and a daughter named Jovi who is two. Jessi is also a stepmom to Jordon's daughter from a previous relationship, named Peyton.

After The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives Season 2 premiered in May 2025, Jessi Draper admitted that she and Jordan were struggling as a couple. It came after Marciano Brunette made a bombshell claim that he and Jessi had been romantically involved. He alleged that he and Jessi had an affair after SLOMW cast appeared on an episode of Vanderpump Villa. However, in season 3, fans saw Jessi admit to having an emotional affair with Marciano, but denied having sex with him.
Previously speaking on The Viall Files podcast, Jessi admitted that she and Jordan were 'working through things' following season 2. However, she wasn't seen wearing her wedding ring either. Jessi was also asked during the conversation whether Jordon was a good role model for their daughter. To which Jessi hesitated to answer at first, then revealed that a lot had happened, and maybe Jordon is the one who should be asked that question. Jessi was quoted as saying:
"I will say that reality TV is hard on any relationship, whether it’s a friendship or a marriage. And we've been through a lot, and now it’s going to be public. We’re trying our best – but things are a little tricky right now. I'm excited to hopefully share more about that someday. But right now it’s just real life, and it’s hard...I think a lot has happened, and he and I are both willing to work on things and change. But maybe he should be asked that question, because that might wake him up."

In The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives Season 3, Jessi and Jordan revealed they had been doing a 90-day separation after the Vanderpump Villa revealed their secret on the show. Jessi explained that her husband had known about Marciano long before the news became public, with Jessi telling Layla Taylor on the show, "Jordan's known for six months, so he's known the whole time." She added:
"I've been hiding the secret of my affair for a while. I've been hoping and praying this secret would never come out, because it's the biggest mistake I've ever made in my whole life. But I now have to face what I did, own it, and tell the truth."
