Evan Ross has built a successful career in the music and acting industry over the years. He is known for his singles like Yes Me, which came out in 2011. Apart from that, he has many other songs in his credits, including Don’t Look At Me, All I Want, and more. However, his acting journey dates back to 1999, when he was featured in the television movie, Shelly Fisher. Although Ashlee Simpson’s sister, Jessica Simpson, built a fan base with her first album, Sweet Kisses, Ashlee developed an interest in acting. In 2001, Ashlee made her debut with Malcolm in the Middle, and she was featured in an episode of the Fox sitcom. Ashlee later became popular for her appearance in 7th Heaven. She portrayed the role of 'Cecilia Smith' from the seventh season of the show in 2002. Ashlee continued playing the role until the eighth season in 2004.

While Ashlee Simpson became well-known with her presence on the small screen, she made her film debut with The Hot Chick in 2002. She continued appearing in other films like Undiscovered and Pawn Shop Chronicles. Simpson even gave her voice to a character named 'Streka' in Space Dogs Adventure to the Moon, released in 2016. She later gained recognition for playing 'Violet Foster' in Melrose Place. Apart from these, she has been a part of some reality shows like Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica and The Bachelor Presents: Listen to Your Heart.

Ashlee Simpson has worked with the record label, Geffen, in her musical career. She has released three albums so far. The first project, Autobiography, was released in 2004. The album was successful and sold millions of copies, alongside taking the first spot on the US Billboard 200. This was followed by I Am Me in 2005. With 11 songs in the soundtrack, I Am Me also took the top position on the US Billboard 200 and other charts. In 2008, Ashlee Simpson released her third album, Bittersweet World. The album gained recognition for bringing a different style out of Ashlee. However, it could not reach any position on the US Billboard Hot 100.

Evan Ross and Ashlee Simpson’s relationship dates back to 2013 when they were spotted together on various occasions. The pair confirmed the romance while appearing with each other at the Fall 2013 Campaign event of Jessica Simpson. A year after making the relationship official, Ashlee and Evan got engaged in 2014. The latter announced the news with a photo on X, where Ashlee was spotted flaunting her engagement ring. The pair tied the knot at the residence of Diana Ross in Connecticut in the same year.

In 2015, Ashlee and Evan had their first child, Jagger Snow. The duo revealed the news through an Instagram post, which has now been deleted. The couple was expecting their second child in April 2020, and they welcomed a son named Ziggy Blue in October 2020. Ashlee is also the mother of another child, Bronx Mowgli, born from her marriage to musician Pete Wentz. Ashlee and Pete exchanged vows in 2008 and separated in 2011.
