Meet 'Dhurandhar' Actor Vivek Sinha, Bollywood Career And Reality Of The Rs. 1 Crore Fees Revealed

Vivek Sinha is creating headlines with his recent claims related to the fees that he received for Dhurandhar. Notably, the actor played 'Zahoor Mistry' in the spy action-thriller, released in 2025. He portrayed the role once again in the sequel, Dhurandhar: The Revenge, released in 2026. While initial reports stated that the actor received Rs. 1 crore, Vivek has now dismissed the same as he shared a video on Instagram on April 10, 2026.

Although Vivek Sinha did not reveal how much he was paid, he said that people have been seeking help from him ever since the reports of his fees went viral. While Vivek’s clarification on the clip is grabbing a lot of attention, people have been eager to know more about Vivek’s journey in the film industry.

Vivek Sinha has kept a lot of details about himself away from the limelight

Vivek Sinha’s date of birth has been different in every source. While the identity of his parents remains unknown, he was very young when his father passed away. In an interview with Zee News in March 2026, Vivek Sinha said that he was raised by his mother, adding that she has been the reason behind the confidence and happiness that exists in him today. Vivek is reportedly 56 years old and initially pursued engineering before coming to the entertainment industry.

Vivek Sinha played important roles in other films before appearing in Dhurandhar

Vivek Sinha developed his acting skills by participating in acting workshops and was a part of the theatre. He even worked in a short film, Period Chart, and has been featured in some advertisements. According to IMDb, Vivek has appeared in Rajkumar Hirani’s 2014 hit, PK, as the 'Levitating Baba.' After a gap of five years, Vivek was seen in Rohit Arora’s thriller film, The Pickup Baba, released in 2019.

Vivek has also been featured in three episodes of Tandav, released on Amazon Prime Video in 2021. The political thriller had Saif Ali Khan, Sunil Grover, and many others among the main cast members. The series was created by Ali Abbas Zafar. Vivek is also known for playing 'Narayan Sai' in Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai, which was released directly on Zee5 in 2023. Vivek has also portrayed 'Rajiv Mahato' in Delhi Crime Season 3 in 2025. He has been a part of other films like Dilli Dark and Modi Ji Ki Beti. Vivek has served as an associate director of a film titled Dhananjay.

Vivek Sinha said that he does not have anything that he has earned from Dhurandhar

Vivek Sinha said in his Instagram video on April 10, 2026, that the payment he received for his appearance in Dhurandhar is finished now. Vivek addressed the difficulties of living in Mumbai, saying that it is very expensive. Vivek even referred to all those who were asking for help from him, stating that if he earns something better compared to his last film, he will try to do it. Vivek clarified that he does not have any objection to helping people if he has enough money. 

Vivek made brief appearances in Dhurandhar and Dhurandhar: The Revenge. His character, 'Zahoor Mistry,' was killed by Hamza in the sequel. Notably, Dhurandhar: The Revenge is still running in theatres and has continued attracting crowds, leading to an increase in the box office collections. As per IMDb, Vivek has two more projects, Aadhi Dulhan and 21 Days, in his upcoming lineup.
