Roberson did not see game action in her first year at Duke. She redshirted her true freshman season due to a knee injury. She returned to the court for the 2025-26 season.
In her first active collegiate season, Roberson averaged 8.0 points and 5.7 rebounds per game. She played a key role in Duke’s frontcourt and helped the Blue Devils advance to the Elite Eight in the 2026 NCAA Tournament. Reports from the 2025-26 season described her as “a talented 6-foot-4 center for the Duke Blue Devils women’s basketball team.” Her size and rebounding contributed to Duke’s run in the tournament that year.
Roberson also comes from a basketball family. She is the younger sister of seven-year NBA veteran Andre Roberson, who previously earned NBA All-Defensive Second Team honors with the Oklahoma City Thunder.
As of the end of the 2025-26 college season, Roberson had completed one year of competition at Duke after redshirting the year prior. She was listed on Duke’s roster as a center and was coming off a season where she averaged 8.0 points and 5.7 rebounds while helping the team reach the Elite Eight.

Public reports first linked Arianna Roberson and Cooper Flagg in April 2026. The initial speculation began when Roberson attended Flagg’s NBA Rookie of the Year press conference and was seated directly alongside his parents, Kelly and Ralph. Multiple outlets noted that moment as the first time fans observed them together in a public setting.
The next point of attention came in early May 2026, seemingly announcing the romance. Both Roberson and Flagg posted separate photos through Instagram from the same location on the same day. The photos were taken at Noah's Ark Beach Club in Turks and Caicos. A Mavs fan account reposted Instagram story screenshots showing Flagg and Roberson on swings over the ocean at Noah's Ark. The matching vacation posts led to renewed discussion online about their connection.
Official confirmation followed on May 15, 2026. On that day, Roberson published a TikTok video from the vacation. The video showed the two trying on different outfits together. In nearly every clip, they were holding hands.
On the same day, Flagg posted to his Instagram story. The post showed the two sharing a kiss, with two black heart emojis included in the caption. Roberson then reshared that same Instagram story to her own platform. Following those posts, several media outlets reported the social media activity as confirmation of their relationship.
