Add BollywoodShaadis on GoogleBo Naylor is heading into a new chapter, both professionally and personally. On August 1, 2026, just days before the MLB trade deadline, the Cleveland Guardians dealt the 26-year-old catcher to the Milwaukee Brewers in a four-player trade. The trade officially ended his five-year stint with the organization that drafted him in the first round of the 2018 MLB Draft.
While the move has sparked conversations about his baseball future, it has also renewed interest in another milestone awaiting the Canadian star: his upcoming wedding to his longtime partner and now fiancée, Jacqueline 'Jackie' Gonzalez.
Who is Bo Naylor's fiancée, Jaqueline Gonzalez?
Jackie keeps her personal life mostly private. She also has a history in softball. She’s a former player who spent more than 18 years in the sport. She said an emotional goodbye to softball in 2023, thanking the game for shaping so much of her life before turning the page to a new chapter. Gonzalez posted a series of photos from her playing days along with a heartfelt message on Instagram, “Thank you softball for the last 18 years… I will miss you."

Though she keeps her personal life mostly out of the spotlight, Gonzalez has become a familiar face to baseball fans through her relationship with Naylor. The couple often posts images of their travels and life events, including their romantic engagement in Tivoli, Italy, on social media.
Bo Naylor and Jacqueline Gonzalez's fairytale proposal melted hearts
Naylor proposed to his girlfriend, Jackie, during a romantic trip to Tivoli, Italy, in November 2025, with the breathtaking Aniene River waterfalls providing the perfect backdrop. The couple later shared the special moment on Instagram, where Jacqueline's heartfelt caption quickly resonated with baseball fans. Flaunting her engagement ring, she wrote:
"Across every lifetime, my heart has only ever known one answer: saying yes to you. We are embedded in each other's souls so deeply that in every life we yearn to be brought together."
The post was almost immediately flooded with congratulatory messages from across the MLB community, including fellow players' families, while fans praised the proposal as something straight out of a movie. Together, they are now one of the most loved couples in the MLB community.
Regarding their upcoming nuptials, Bo and Jaqueline are set to marry on December 31, 2026, with an intimate destination ceremony planned in Tuscany, Italy. According to their wedding website on Zola, the pair will exchange vows privately before celebrating with family and friends at a lavish New Year's Eve Masquerade Reception in Vaughan, Ontario.

Their invitation describes the evening as "An evening of elegance, love, and celebration awaits! Where midnight marks not only a new year, but the start of their forever." The unique celebration combines a destination wedding with a New Year's Eve reception, making it one of the more memorable athlete weddings of the year.
Bo Nayor begins a new MLB chapter with the Brewers
Naylor's wedding preparations now coincide with a major career move. On August 1, 2026, the Guardians traded him and right-handed pitcher Codi Heuer to the Milwaukee Brewers in exchange for reliever Craig Yoho and outfielder Blake Perkins.
Originally selected 29th overall in the 2018 MLB Draft, Naylor spent his entire major league career with Cleveland before becoming expendable after the Guardians acquired catcher Patrick Bailey earlier this season. In 28 MLB games during the 2026 campaign, Naylor batted .143 with two home runs and seven RBIs, while showing improved power during his Triple-A stint with Columbus, where he hit seven home runs in 45 games. Following the trade, the Brewers assigned him to Triple-A Nashville as he works toward earning another opportunity in the majors.
As Naylor prepares for a fresh start in Milwaukee, 2026 is shaping up to be one of the biggest years of his life.
