Big Brother is all set to return with a brand-new season! Yes! The makers of the iconic reality show have revealed that the TV series is officially on its way, and fans could not be any more thrilled. And now, the official contestant list for the show has been released. So, let's take a quick look at who will be joining the Big Brother house this season.

Big Brother to return with a brand new season

Big Brother will soon be returning to your TV screens with Season 28. The show became a staple in homes with its high-intensity drama. The show is a hit among reality TV fans, and with Season 28 right around the corner. Amid the excitement about the new season, Big Brother officially released the cast list on July 7, 2026 (ET) in the first-ever Big Brother: Broveal, giving fans a look at the newly renovated home and a chance to get to know who they’ll be watching all season long.

Meet the Big Brother Season 28 cast

Big Brother Season 28 has a stellar lineup comprising 14 contestants from across the United States. The first person to join the show is a 24-year-old bartender, Ashley Trail, followed by Barrett Pfeiffer, a 27-year-old Jumbotron engineer. Chuk Anyanwu is also the same age as Barrett and works as a supply chain analyst. The next contestant is a 22-year-old surgical dental assistant named Drew Campbell.

The show will also feature a 29-year-old beauty, Haley Thogmartin, who works as a telemedicine executive. Next joining Big Brother is 35-year-old Jason De Puy, who is also a Drag Queen! The man described as having a "beard and tattoos on his chest and arms, wearing only black shorts" is the MMA fighter, Kamuela 'Kamu' Kirk. 

Next, we have LaTrice Verret, a 57-year-old boutique salesperson and the oldest person in the Big Brother Season 28 lineup. However, don't let her age mislead you; she comes in with a winning mindset. Following close behind is the very gorgeous Lyric Medeiros; the 25-year-old is not just beautiful but also an attorney. Talk about beauty and brains. Big Brother will also feature Mallory Aurichio, a 24-year-old rocket scientist.

The show will also feature the corporate game show host, Melody Morris, who is also 24 years old. Next on the cast list we have the extremely gorgeous pickleball coach, Rome Seymour. The handsome hunk is 28 years old. Following close behind is Tyalor Brown, a 28-year-old elementary school counsellor, who is all set to spread wisdom and win the audience with her polished looks. The final contestant on our list is Yash Patel, a 24-year-old who hails from New Jersey. He is a financial analyst and will be joining the cast, all set for a showmance.

Big Brother Season 28 is set to have its 90-minute premiere episode air Thursday, July 9, 2026 at 8 p.m. EST on the CBS network and Paramount+. Afterwards, the after-show spin-off series, Big Brother: Unlocked, will premiere its own episode Friday, July 10, 2026 at 8 p.m. EST. The season premiere weekend will close with another main episode Sunday, July 12, 2026 at 8 p.m. EST.
