Helene Spilling, who is widely known as Martin Odegaard’s wife, was born on April 17, 1996, in Gjerdrum Municipality, Norway. She is a professional dancer and has won the Norwegian dance championships 17 times. She is best known for her appearances on the show, Skal vi danse?, the Norwegian edition of Dancing with the Stars. It is worth noting that Helene performed with dance legend, Jonas Pettersson for years.

On the show, Skal vi danse? Helene is one of the professional dancers. She won the show in her second season and took home the trophy with the journalist, Simon Nitsche. In 2017, Helene moved to Lithuania to practice with her dance partner, Dominykas Granskas, with whom she competed internationally. Two years later, in 2019, Helene  returned to her home country of Norway.

Martin Odegaard and Helene Spilling's low-key love story

Martin and Helene prefer to keep their personal life private, and thus, not much is known about their love story. According to multiple reports, Martin tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend, Helene, in November 2024. Confirming the following, Helene took to her Instagram handle on June 28, 2025 and shared a dreamy carousel featuring the special moments of their big day. In the first snap, the couple looked very much in love as they looked lost in each other’s gaze. The second picture featured Martin and Helene’s first dance as a couple.

In the third snap, Helene looked the happiest as she cut the big wedding cake while Martin stayed by her side. The seventh picture was all things adorable. Martin was teary-eyed and became emotional while he exchanged vows with his ladylove, Helene. However, it was the last snap that stole the spotlight. In the last picture, the then-newlyweds were seen riding a vintage car, and the vehicle had a sash at the back that bore the text, Just Married. Sharing the love-filled pictures, Helene wrote:

"Just you and me. What a weekend. Thank you to everyone who celebrated the day with us, and to everyone who helped create our dream wedding. We are so grateful and happy for all the magical moments!"

On August 28, 2024, Helene took to her Instagram handle to share the joyous news that she was expecting her first baby with her husband, Martin. Sharing a wholesome picture, Helene wrote, "1+1 = 3. Can’t wait to meet you, our little baby." In the picture, Martin was seen caressing Helene’s fully grown baby bump. Later, on December 6, 2024, Helene shared about her baby's arrival on her Instagram handle. Helene mentioned that she gave birth to a baby boy on December 1, 2024. She wrote:

"01/12/2024. We love you so much, our little baby boy."

Helene has been a consistent support system to Martin. During the 2023-24 Premier League season, Arsenal won three matches and had a narrow finish by securing the second position in the title race.
