Meera Vasudevan, Malayalam Actress, Talks About Her Three Ugly Divorces, 'Made Mistake Nothing To..'

Meera Vasudevan, the famous Malayalam actress, has not had an easy life. She was married thrice, but the relationship failed as she ended up divorced. In 2025, Meera parted ways with her third husband, Vipin. The marriage was a short one, and while it could leave a serious impact, Meera chooses to see the best side of it. Recently, she talked about her life after three divorces.

Meera Vasudevan talked about her life after three divorces

Recently, in an interview with Movie World Media, Meera talked about her life after three divorces. She shared that for her, it wasn't difficult as she had accepted that this is what was going to happen. She had made mistakes, and she had nothing to hide. Meera added that she knows that she has to move forward in life. Currently, she is busy building her career and trying to lead a happy life. She was quoted as saying:

"I had already accepted that these things would happen. I have made mistakes, and I have nothing to hide. Now, I need to move forward with my life. I am currently very busy with my career and very happy in life. I am in a very beautiful phase in my life right now."

Meera added that she got clarity in life through the experiences she had. As per her, if a person is not happy in their space, they start seeking validation from others. She added that other people's truth starts becoming our truth. Meera stated that a person should learn from their experiences. She said:

"We attain clarity in life through experiences. If we aren't comfortable in our own space, we end up seeking validation from others. When that happens, what others say starts becoming our 'truth.' That doesn't mean we should hurt anyone, but we must learn from our experiences and grow."

Meera also opened up about her family. She shared that she now also takes guidance from her father, mother and even her son. She stated that children are extremely intelligent, and her son often comes up with solutions. Currently, she is living a happy life with her family and at a good space in her career. She said:

"Even now, I rely on the guidance of my father, mother, and my son. Children are very intelligent; sometimes, after listening to our conversations, my son would come up with solutions. I am happy with my family. I am in a very stable place now, and my career is at a good stage."

It is worth mentioning that Meera Vasudevan first got married to Vishal Agarwal. Her first husband was the son of the cinematographer Ashok Kumar. The couple tied the knot in 2005, but after five years of living together, they parted ways in July 2010. Later, in 2011, Meera gave love another chance and chose to marry a Malayalam actor, John Kokken. The couple even got blessed with a son. However, after four years of marriage, they parted ways in 2016. 

After two ugly marriages, Meera chose to get married for the third time. In May 2024, she announced her wedding to cinematographer Vipin Puthiyankam. However, the marriage lasted only a year, and they divorced in August 2025. Meera announced the same with an Instagram post, which can be read as:

"I, Actress Meera Vasudevan, aka @officialmeeravasudevan, officially declare that I am now single since Aug 2025. I am at a most wonderful and peaceful phase of my life."
