Yesteryear actress, Meenakshi Seshadri is one of the leading actresses of the 80s and 90s. The doe-eyed beauty was known for her acting and dancing skills. After making her acting debut with the film, Painter Babu in 1983, Meenakshi became a star overnight with the success of her film, Hero in 1983.
One of the highest-paid actresses of her time, Meenakshi Seshadri is known for her path-breaking performance in the 1993 film, Damini. Talking about her personal life, Meenakshi got married to a US-based investment banker, Harish Mysore and the couple got blessed with two kids, a son named Josh and a daughter named Kendra. Post-marriage, Meenakshi left Bollywood and shifted to Plano, Texas.

On her recent visit to India, Meenakshi revealed that she plans to meet Neetu Kapoor. Meenakshi, who did several films with Rishi Kapoor could not meet or speak to Neetu Kapoor after Rishi Kapoor’s demise. In an interview with the Times of India, Meenakshi Seshadri revealed that she would apologise to Neetu Kapoor and shared:
“I have yet to meet Neetu ji personally and talk to her (after Rishi's death). I should have done it by now, but still haven't. I apologise to her about the same. I will meet her.”
Meenakshi Seshadri shared a warm rapport with Rishi Kapoor, and their on-screen chemistry too was loved by the audience. The duo had worked together in movies like Bade Ghar Ki Beti, Ghar Parivar, Gharana and Damini. Whenever Meenakshi visited India, she made sure to meet Rishi Kapoor and his family.

Meenakshi is not only known for her distinctive acting skills but also for her dancing talent, which was something to aspire for. Meenakshi is a professional classical dancer trained in Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi, Kathak and Odissi. Meenakshi teaches Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi and Odissi at a school named 'Cherish Dance School' in the US, which was founded by her hubby, Harish.
Apart from her professional life, Meenakshi Seshadri's personal life too had garnered a lot of limelight. Her serious affairs with singer, Kumar Sanu and renowned filmmaker, Rajkumar Santoshi are still widely-discussed topics in the glamour world.
