Marciano Brunette Breaks His Silence On Jessi Draper's Divorce After An 'Emotional Affair' With Him

Jessi Draper is currently leading the headlines after her husband, Jordan Ngatikaura, filed for a divorce from her after she confessed to her relationship with Marciano Brunette. It all began when Jessi opened up about the struggles in her marriage with Jordan on The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives and also stated having an ‘emotional affair’ with Marciano Brunette.

Marciano Brunette talks about his emotional affair with Jessi Draper 

Marciano recently took to his IG handle and shared a reel, in which he shared a glimpse of Jessi’s Call Her Daddy interview, where she stated that she hasn’t talked to Marciano “in almost a year”. She also claimed that their affair was over. After the snippet of Jessi’s video, Marciano broke his silence on the matter and said:

“Listen, I know what everyone is thinking. I’ve seen all of the comments. But I want everyone to know that now that Jessi is single, I have no plan to…”

The video ended abruptly, leaving his fans stunned. As many thought it was a technical glitch, it was not the case. Marciano deliberately cut the video in the middle but made sure to post a cryptic caption on the post. He captioned the post, “But why is she giggling?” Under the post, Jessi commented, “Check mate”, after which Marciano penned, “@_justjessiiii uhhh I mean can we at least be friends.”

Marciano Brunette and Jessi Ngatikaura’s affair buzz

Marciano Brunette met Jessi Ngatikaura in August 2024 when the Mormon Wives cast travelled to Italy for filming. Soon, rumours started spreading that Marciano and Jessi were seen getting close at a bar, and Jessi denied the rumours. On the other hand, Marciano, in a conversation with Layla Taylor, stated that he had a connection with Jessi and also stated that it was not just a one-time moment.

During the reunion of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, Jessi kept saying that there was no truth to the rumours and there was more to it. Jessi later admitted to having an emotional connection with Marciano Brunette. She shared that they kissed twice and described it as an emotional affair, not a physical relationship, in the way it was being claimed.

Jessi Draper spoke about her difficult marriage to Jordan Ngatikaura

In an interview with PEOPLE, she revealed that her marriage to Jordan Ngatikaura had been difficult for a long time. She described a pattern that slowly built up, in which small behaviours over time became heavier and harder to handle. According to TMZ, Jordan later filed for divorce in Utah on March 19, 2026, after five years of marriage.

He said the decision was difficult but necessary, adding that his main focus now is on his children and on handling the situation with respect. Jordan’s statement can be read as:

"This has not been an easy decision, and it comes with a heavy heart. I’m grateful for the shared memories and the lessons. While our paths are now moving in different directions, my priority remains my children and ensuring they feel loved, supported, and protected through this transition. I am committed to handling this next chapter with kindness and respect."
