“While I was on my way to Utah, Mr McWhorter called me and asked me what I thought about permitting filming of Mormon Wives.”

According to him, the group had already planned to stay at an Airbnb, and he was told production would be filming there. He agreed in the moment, thinking it would be informal and limited. Surprisingly, he had no direct conversations with the producers before filming began. Marciano described filming for about an hour at a bar alongside, Chase. At that point, he believed it was just a small appearance among friends, not something tied to bigger legal consequences. He also made it clear that before filming began, he had not signed any documents or entered into any formal agreement.

Now, according to his claim, that same release is being used by producers to argue that he waived his right to continue legal action against them. Marciano has pushed back strongly on that point, making it clear he never intended to drop any claims tied to his lawsuit.
