Manoj Bajpayee is one of the most talented actors in the Hindi film industry. The actor is loved by many, and there is no denying the fact that he can swoon millions of hearts with his impeccable acting prowess. Recently some reports claimed that the actor has reached a net worth close to Rs. 170 crores. However, Manoj recently reacted to the same.
In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Manoj Bajpayee was asked if the reports about his Rs. 170 crores net worth are true. In response, the talented actor laughed and shared that making that sort of money with what he does is next to impossible. He also shared that he is struggling to get some money into his kitty. Talking about the buzz about his Rs. 170 crore net worth, Manoj Bajpayee stated that he really wishes that after hearing these, the producers could increase his salary. So that he could then just take off to some faraway place and be easy in life. Manoj shared:
"Making that sort of money is impossible with the kind of work that I do, and be part of films such as Aligarh (2015) and Bhonsle (2018). I am still struggling to get some money into my kitty...Now, after reading these reports, I just hope that the producers will now raise my salary. And then I think to myself, ‘Kaash aish ho jaata’… At least, I could then just take off to some faraway place and be easy in life."

On being asked if he ever did a project for big bucks, Manoj Bajpyee revealed that he could not only work for money because, for him, the craft is very important. The actor also mentioned that, in return, he hopes to get love from the audience.
In the same interview, Manoj was asked about the success he received and how far way he had come. To reply, the incredible actor mentioned that he has learned to detach himself from any kind of success, failure, and rejection. He shared that he definitely celebrates milestones with his team, and seeing their happy faces makes him happy, but he doesn't really have time to sit and bask in the past glory, as he knows a new day will bring a new challenge. Elaborating more on the same, Manoj mentioned:
"I definitely celebrate milestones with my team, but after that, it will be a new day, new film and new challenge that we have to meet and really accomplish it. So, I feel for me, there is no time to really sit back and bask in the past glory."

Earlier, in an interview with Curly Tales, Manoj Bajpayee talked about his retirement plans. The splendid actor mentioned that post-retirement, he would want to skip the hustle-bustle of Mumbai and live in the lap of nature, i.e., amidst the mountain. He also shared that he has already taken place somewhere, and he would like a build a small house there. The talented actor shared Mumbai will be a city for his daughter, and he doesn't want to live here in his old age.
