Sasural Simar Ka fame, Manish Raisinghan and the love of his life, Ek Shringaar-Swabhiman fame, Sangeita Chauhaan had embarked on their journey of togetherness exactly one month ago on June 30, 2020. It is said that marriage changes people. There are ample of changes that a person has to embrace since they're now responsible for someone else's happiness too. The newlyweds have to make many amendments to their lives. From bedroom to closet to bathroom, Everything is a shared property. And it seems, married life has well suited the lovebirds, Manish Raisinghan and Sangeita Chauhaan. The newlywed couple had expressed their feeling of getting married and how anxious they were, in an interview with SpotboyE. While Sangeita had said, "It's finally the end of anxiety", Manish had revealed that his legs were shivering. Elaborating on the same and the sindoor moment, Manish had said, "Everything was going smoothly, and suddenly they gave me sindoor to fill, and my hands started shivering. I suddenly realised the end of my bachelor's life."
On completing one blissful month of marriage, Sangeita Chauhaan posted an array of monochrome pictures with her hubby, Manish Raisinghan on her IG handle and talked about her happy place in the sweet note, she put in the caption. Her caption can be read as "30 days.. Of me returning to my child like being.. u kept ur promise Mr. Husband and My Best Friend Forever.. Happy happy 1st month to us .. It just feels like yesterday though.. *evil laughter* hu ha ha ha ha." Manish Raisinghan also posted the same pictures on his IG handle, expressing his feelings in a heartfelt note which can be read as "30 days to our wedding today... and the pictures also lose their color... bole toh zindagi seedha #blackandwhite. Hahaha bole toh fantastic re baba... beautiful... beautiful! She as it is thinks I got married just to be able to crack " bechara husband jokes" as a Victim Husband. But... Thank you gorgeous for adding that magic in our lives which i never knew was missing... thank you @sangeitachauhaan for being mine. Some days ago, in an interview with International Business Times, Manish was asked how his life has changed post-marriage, and he had revealed a rather funny moment from the first morning after the marriage. Sharing how he was shocked to see his wife, Sangeita in his bed the morning after their marriage, he had said, "It's too early to say, as much as its shocking for others, it's for me and I am yet to come to terms to it (laughs). For instance, after we came from gurudwara and our marriage rituals were completed, we went off to sleep, and it was pretty sound sleep. As soon I opened my eyes, I saw Sangeita right next to me, and I jumped out of bed, and told her 'What are you doing here?' To which she candidly said 'Saale, Haamari Shaadi Hogayae Hai'. It pretty sums up how my married life is going on and the way my wife is treating me. (laughs again)."
In a candid interaction with The Times of India, Manish Raisinghan and Sangeita Chauhan had opened up about their love story, their first impression of each other and their proposal. Recalling their first meeting, Sangeita had said, "So, hum log pheli bar Swabhiman ke set pe mile the, par tab hum logo ne kuch khas baat nahi kia tha, baate hi nahi ki thi, bas ek bar mera phone Manish ke haath me aa gaya tha, because I was messaging someone and that happens to be his old friend, and inhone mere phone se message kuch kar diya, and I thought dekhne ke liye phone liya hoga, I didn't realise ki mere phone se kuch hua hai, samne se message aata hai, Manish Raisinghan haan, so bas utna hi kuch masti hui this." Sangeita had then continued, "Then 3 mahine baad hum dubara se mile the jab Suchi ma'am ne hume invite kiya tha, aur wahan humari pheli bar baat hui thi. Mai jo kabhi zindagi me gossip nahi karti hai, use baaton ki shuruwat hui gossip kar kar. Uske baad bhi we were in touch. On and off kabhi messages pe baat hoti thi, then I understood that he is more than an actor, he is a filmmaker. I mean work wise. We were just talking like friends without any intention. We are just getting to know each other. I loved his passion for work and ye itna enthusiastic hai about life and about everything and he is so full of life, and gradually we realised.." To which, Manish had interrupted saying, "Majak Majak mein abdul Razak ho gaya. Shaadi ho gayi. Pta bhi nahi chala ki patt gayi."
