Bigg Boss is one of the most controversial reality shows and there is no doubt about that. Every now and then, we come across surprises, shocks and unexpected news related to the show. And even after a particular season gets over, news keeps pouring in about the contestants’ personal life. One such celebrity whose love life became the talk of the town is ex-Bigg Boss 12 contestant, Srishty Rode. For the ones who don’t know, Srishty was engaged to famous telly land actor Manish Naggdev before entering the BB 12 house. During the course of the show, one of the wild card entries and television actor, Rohit Suchanti, started having hots for the actress. Nonetheless, she seemed very clear not to reciprocate, courtesy her love for Manish, who was waiting for her outside the house. But what came as a shock was Srishty and Manish’s sudden breakup post her eviction. Rumours started floating in that it was because of Rohit and Srishty’s closeness that their relationship went kaput. Apart from confirming the separation, Manish had never spoken about the reason behind it until now.
Today, on June 7, 2019, after almost six months to the entire debacle, Manish took to his official Instagram handle and shared a long open letter. He captioned the post as, "It's ok to vent it out. I hope all your questions have been answered with this. #stop." In the long open letter, Manish penned, "PICHLI BAAR PYAAR MEIN LIKHA THA IS BAAR HOSH MEIN LIKH RAHA HOON. My dear fans, supporters, and followers must be wondering about my silence about my personal life in the last few months and ow while reading this you must be curious why? So let me tell you- I decided to express my feelings about the anguish I have gone through openly today despite being expected to "man-up" and stay silent because even if some people think I am stupid to talk about it please don’t forget MEN-JUST LIKE WOMEN HAVE DEEP FEELINGS." Revealing that it was Srishty who broke off with him over a phone call, Manish further wrote, "I have reached my tipping point today and I am tired of avoiding my families, friends and fans. I didn’t speak to you before about this because I was still unsure until recently about the status of my relationship with my partner. But what can I do? She hadn’t given me a proper closure after a 4-year relationship in which I involved her in every aspect of my life, family and my personal career. She had broken up with me over a phone call and when I had asked her if we could talk about it face to face, she replied saying, "I am at the peak of my career I don’t wish to be in this relationship anymore and as it is I am detached, what is left to talk about?" Famous television actress, Kamya Panjabi chose to comment on the post and had written, "Yes, it is so important to talk, to share... Everyone has limits! Sometimes u bend, sometimes u feel crushed, but one day u reach that point where enuf is enuf! If u luv someone wit all ur heart, their actions are affecting u in negative ways there has to be line when u say "enough" i m glad u are venting it all out! God bless you my friend!" Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya too commented, "Always by your side Manish. I know you for 13 years now. I know what you are made of! Just let the bygones be bygones and keep moving ahead with your head held high like before. Best times are yet to come. Trust me!"
Confirming their breakup, Manish had spoken to SpotboyE and was quoted as saying, "Srishty and I are not together anymore. I don’t wish to give a reason because there is none in particular. All I can say is, minor disagreements and difference of opinion led to it. We were expecting different things from each other. Around three weeks ago, we realised that things were not working out as expected. So, we discussed the future of our relationship and decided that it was better to part ways. I have immense love and respect for Srishty and I will always cherish the time spent with her."
Earlier, in January 2019, Manish had told a leading portal that he didn’t wish to comment on what went wrong between the two. Manish was quoted as saying, "Srishty and I are not together anymore. When Srishty was inside the Bigg Boss house, Manish was contacted to comment on Rohit’s inclination towards her. To which, he had then stated, "I am absolutely cool with the link up news. I know Rohit is trying his best but nothing is going to happen because I know Srishty is all mine. She is really clear in her thoughts and knows whom she wants. She knows what she is doing in the house. I have no comments for Rohit. Till the time he is in his limits it is fine, but the moment he crosses his limits, I shall not tolerate." Manish had further added, "I am fully secured and I know what she is doing. I don't need to be insecure at all and as I know Srishty. Everyone has their right to feel and express their emotions and I am quite okay if Rohit has done that, but I am not at all insecure. I just want him to be in his limits."
