Bridal fashion is definitely one of the columns of the fashion and styling genre that often trends on our social media feeds. Nowadays, every bride wants to try something unique, out of the box so that they can create a buzz around their haatke wedding looks. From incorporating floral jewellery to colourful chooda and kaleera to ditching red lehenga and opting for colours from a varied range, brides are making their own rule book when it comes to bridal fashion.
Over the years, we have seen brides have been taking full responsibility for how they will look at their wedding. They start planning their outfit, jewellery, hair and makeup for each of the ceremonies as soon as the date gets fixed. Here are a few brides who chose designer couture for their D-day and opted for unique blush pink ensembles to look absolutely gorgeous. So, without any further ado, let's jump straight into decoding their lookbooks!
The bride, Rhea Lambert, opted for a designer lehenga for her wedding day, and she chose celebrity fashion designer, Sabyasachi Mukherjee. She wore a blush pink-coloured lehenga which featured layered broad embroidery work on the hemline with multi-coloured thread and floral detailing all over it. She paired it with a choli that had a plunging neckline and a sheer dupatta that had a sleek border detailing. Rhea completed her look with stone-studded jewellery, including a choker necklace, earrings, a matha patti, a nath, red chooda and pearl-stringed kaleera. She accentuated her whole look with bold smokey eyes and nude makeup.
The next bride, Navpreet Jassar, opted for an Anamika Khanna collection for her Anand Karaj wedding ceremony and looked absolutely gorgeous. She wore a light blush pink-coloured lehenga with multi-coloured thread peacock motif embroidery along with golden embellishment and a scalloped hemline. She paired her look with a double dupatta. While one was pinned on her shoulder, the other one was a sheer veil tucked on her head. She accentuated her look with stone-studded polki jewellery and sheen makeup. But what caught our attention was her beautifully tucked sleek bun adorned with roses and carnations.
Influencer bride, Shivani Bafna chose one of the most popular fashion designers, Tarun Tahiliani, for her designer lehenga at her wedding. She opted for a pale blush pink lehenga embroidered with silver zari work and adorned with Swarovski crystals. However, it was her peplum-cut choli and her sheer dupatta embellished with pearls on the hemline that caught our attention. She completed her look with a diamond neckpiece, matching earrings, a matha patti and a sleek nath. Shivani kept her makeup minimal to let her gorgeous outfit do the talking.
We had come across a bride, Prabhleen Kaur, who chose one of the famous bridal and celebrity fashion designers, Manish Malhotra's couture, for her Anand Karaj. She had looked stunning in a pretty light blush-pink anarkali suit which was embellished with crystals, beads and silver zari all over it. She had paired it with a matching dupatta which had featured fringes at the hemline. Prabhleen completed her look with a stone-studded layered neckpiece, a choker with an emerald stone detailing, matching earrings and a sleek maang teeka. She accentuated her look with bold eyes and pink nude lips. However, it was her pink kaleera that caught our attention.
Our next bride, Ruhi Meman, entrusted on Anamika Khanna and opted for a pretty blush pink-coloured lehenga choli with intricate zardosi embroidery all over it, giving an edge to the look. She paired the whole getup with a dual dupatta look. One had the same embroidery on the hemline with a scalloped border pinned neatly on her shoulder, while the other had a sleek embellishment all over it, which was tucked on her bun. She looked like a royal princess as she accessorised it with a stone-studded neckpiece, earrings and a sheesh patti.
This bride, Malika Bhasin wore a gorgeous Manish Malhotra lehenga in blush-pink colour embroidered with crystals, beads, metallic thread and sequins. She completed her look with a heavy neckpiece, matching earrings and a maang teeka. She paired the whole getup with pink chooda and a sheer veil with fringes detailing at the hemline. Malika had opted for dewy makeup.
Our next bride, Shivangi Singh had opted for Manish Malhotra designer couture for her wedding. She could be seen wearing a blush pink-coloured lehenga that had featured white thread Kashmiri embroidery, enhanced with pearls, beads and sequins. Shivangi completed her look with a diamond waterfall choker, a neckpiece, earrings, a maang teeka and a nath.
The bride, Anukansha Birla, wore an Anamika Khanna trousseau at her wedding and looked absolutely stunning. She had donned a pale blush pink-coloured lehenga, featuring intricate multi-coloured thread embroidery and sequins all over it. She completed her look with polki jewellery and minimal makeup.
Over the years, we have seen brides opting for the 'blush-pink' colour for their wedding couture, as it gives a pastel tone and adds a royal vibe to their look. Would you like to recreate any of these brides' looks? Let us know if you opt for this colour of the ensembles.
