The couple chose to get married on February 14, 1999, on Valentine's Day. It has been 24 years since they married. Mandira Bedi's video consisted of pictures reflecting her most fun, warm and loving moments with Raj Kaushal. At the end of the video, she wished her husband 'Happy Anniversary' through a written note. While missing her husband, she wrote:
"Would have been 24 years today."

As soon as Mandira posted the video, her friends showered her comment section with love and support. Many celebrities such as the actress-turned-politician, Smriti Irani, Arjun Bijlani, Samita Bangargi, Gaurav Kapoor, Tahira Kashyap and others dropped heart emojis on the post. Mandira Bedi met filmmaker, Raj Kaushal in 1996. They later started dating, and by the end of the year, the duo had come into a committed relationship. The couple were polar opposites, but in just three meetings, they were head over heels for each other. Mandira and Raj tied the knot on February 14, 1999. Raj and Mandira got married twice, once in accordance with Hindu customs of Arya Samaji and then in an Anand Karaj ceremony.
After 12 years into their marriage, Mandira Bedi and Raj Kaushal welcomed their baby boy, Vir Kaushal, on June 19, 2011. The couple later adopted a baby girl, Tara Bedi Kaushal, on July 28, 2020. They always stood by each other through thick and thin.

Raj Kaushal was 49 when he passed away on June 30, 2021, after a massive heart attack. Dealing with the loss of the love of her life was not easy for Mandira. She became a single mother of two in no time. Mandira gathered the courage to get back into her life. She strives to be the best version of herself for her children, Vir and Tara. In an interview with ETimes last year, the actress talked about how the loss of her husband had taken a mental toll on her. She believed it was all God's plan. Talking about the same, she said:
"Things have happened in my life unexpectedly or haven't gone the way we wanted. In that too, there is some grace and God's plan. I did take a break from prayer but now I bow my head- right from morning when I open my eyes to the lunch that comes in my plate to everything. I don't believe in : Why this is happening to me? Or, why me? I had no choice but to be strong."
