A simple brush of love can turn you into the happiest person in the adventure of life. But we have to be extra careful when it comes to selecting the right co-pilot in the flight of life (if you know what we mean). One mistake and you are often forced to live with them for, ahmm, your whole life. Then there are people, who happily part ways when things go kaboom in their marriage and restart it with a 'divorce' button. And B-town's diva, Malaika Arora is a perfect example of it. Malaika Arora became an inspiration for many women, who are living in an unhappy relationship after she had ended her 18-years old marriage with Arbaaz Khan and had dropped her 'Khan' surname. Last year, Malaika had made to headlines again when she had accepted her relationship status with actor, Arjun Kapoor on his 34th birthday. On June 26, 2019, Malaika had taken to her Instagram handle and had posted a picture of herself. She had captioned it as “Happy birthday my crazy, insanely funny and amazing @arjunkapoor love and happiness always".
Since then, the entire nation is anxiously waiting for Arjun and Malaika to walk down the aisle. In an interview with The Times of India, Malaika opened up on her marriage plans and said that currently, her hands are full as she has to do a lot of planning to expand her business. Malaika wants to grow it bigger and better. She shared that 2019 was good on the professional and personal front as she was recognised as a businesswoman and a brand. But as far as marriage is concerned, these things cannot be predicted.
Malaika further added that they are planning to go one step at a time. They have been honest where they are standing right now and will talk about it when things will move forward. (Also Read: Charu Asopa Sen Repeats Red Saree Gifted By Her Sister-In-Law, Sushmita Sen, Flaunts It With Chooda)
Malaika kickstarted the year 2020 with a mushy picture with Arjun. On January 1, 2020, Malaika had taken to her Instagram handle and had posted a picture with Arjun giving him a kiss. Along with it, she had written, "Sun, star, light, happiness. 2020".
Coming back to their relationship, in an interview with Zoom TV, Malaika had talked about the same. She had shared whether she is happy or not and had said "I think happiness is a state of mind and yes, why to go into histrionics. Yes, I am happy, why have so much explanation, yes I am happy. In the business (showbiz), everybody is at the receiving end of all of this (speculations about marriage). No one is spared of these kinds of conjectures so to speak. Like we have said, there’s no marriage on the cards right now."
In an interview with Pinkvilla, Malaika had talked about giving love another chance after divorce, and had shared, "It feels amazing! When my marriage ended, I wasn’t sure if I wanted to be in another relationship and was scared of being heartbroken. But I also wanted to be in love, nurture a relationship, and this new me gave me the confidence to put myself out there and take a chance. I am so glad I did!"
Talking about the age difference, Malaika had stated, "The age difference doesn’t really pop up when you are in a relationship. It is about two minds and hearts connecting. Unfortunately, we live in a society that refuses to progress with time." She had further added, "An older man romancing a younger girl is hailed everywhere, but when the woman is older, she’s called ‘desperate’ and a buddhi (old). For people who think like this, I have just one line: Take a flying f***." (Don't Miss: Ex-Couple Sussanne Khan And Hrithik Roshan Welcome New Year Together, Kids And Family Accompanied)
