On November 17, 2022, Malaika took to her Instagram handle and posted a promo video of her upcoming reality show, Moving In With Malaika, which will air on Disney Hotstar. The clip starts with Malaika introducing herself as a woman everyone loves talking about. She called out people, who made fun of her walk and trolled her for wearing evening gowns to bikinis. Malaika also took a dig at how her breakup became breaking news became a national issue. Alongside it, she wrote:
"If you thought I was done making news with my moves, you have another thing coming! Age, clothes, love life are all old news, I am bringing something new for all of you to talk about."
