Malaika Arora may rule the fashion world with her sartorial choices and turns every head with her dance moves, she is a mother who misses her son dearly as he is studying abroad. And Malaika's social media posts prove the same. For the unversed, Malaika had tied the knot with actor-director-producer, Arbaaz Khan in December 1998. The couple had embraced parenthood in 2002 as they had welcomed a baby boy, Arhaan Khan, into their lives.
However, Malaika Arora and Arbaaz Khan had parted ways and had got divorced from each other in 2017, ending their 19-year long marital life. For those who don't know, the ex-couple are still in touch to co-parent their son, Arhaan. However, in their personal lives, both of them have moved on with separate partners. While Malaika is dating Arjun Kapoor, Arbaaz Khan is with a model, Giorgia Andriani.

On April 2, 2022, Malaika Arora took to Instagram stories and shared a happy picture with her son, Arhaan Khan. The doting mother is missing her son so much that she shared a throwback photo with him to show her love. In the picture, Malaika and Arhaan can be seen snuggling up together. Atop it, she attached a heartstring and wrote, "Saturday Major Missin..."
On March 19, 2022, Malaika Arora had taken to her Instagram handle and had shared some pictures as she had reunited with her adorable son, Arhaan Khan. The doting mother could not keep calm as she had fled to New York to meet her son after a long time. She had dropped a picture of Arhaan and had explained her happiness of meeting him after a month. Atop it, Malaika had added a heart emoticon and had written:
"Reunited."

In an interview with Pinkvilla, Malaika had revealed that she was vulnerable yet had recognized her responsibilities of raising a child as a single mother. And for her, that was more important. She had revealed:
"Yes, I did feel scared, vulnerable, frightened, all of those emotions. But I also felt that I had to take one day at a time. I couldn't take giant leaps because that is just not possible. I had to see what every day would unfold for me. At that point, the only thinking about I needs to be, not if I am a single mother but I need to be a working single mother. For me, that was more important."
Arhaan Khan has gone abroad to do higher studies in August 2021. And since then, the doting mother has been sharing cute 'miss you' posts for her son. The day Arhaan had left for New York, Malaika had written a sweet proud note for him. She had penned:
"As we both embark on a new n unchartered journey, one filled with nervousness, fear, excitement, distance, new experiences…All I know is that I am super duper proud of you my Arhaan. This is your time to spread your wings n fly n soar n live all your dreams…Miss you, already."
