Her book, Kareena Kapoor Khan’s Pregnancy Bible has not just mentioned her pregnancy and motherhood experiences, but her BFF, Malaika Arora has also shared inside conversations of their girl gang. From teasing Kareena to ‘sit like a lady’ to gaining weight with her, Malaika’s excerpts from the book give an insight into their friendship.
For the unversed, Kareena Kapoor Khan’s ‘Guts tribe' includes her sister, Karisma Kapoor, Malaika Arora, Amrita Arora and Mallika Bhatt. They all make for a perfect girl squad and have been together for decades now. From partying together to vacationing together, this tribe emits major BFF goals. And now, we also know their inside conversations from the times when Kareena Kapoor Khan was pregnant with her babies.

According to Pinkvilla, Malaika Arora has shared a note in Kareena Kapoor Khan’s pregnancy book and had revealed some inside anecdotes of their conversations. Sharing how their girl gang had gained weight with Kareena during her two pregnancies, Malaika wrote in her note, “Gosh, she has really carried her pregnancies beautifully! The few of us who are really close to her put on weight with her during both her pregnancies. It was a pseudo-pregnancy for me too. We could cook, cater to her whims, eat together, and spend hours chilling."
Malaika also called Kareena a “trooper” during her both pregnancies and how she would tease her, reminding her to “sit like a lady.” She added in her note, “The only time I actually saw her look tired was during the eighth and ninth months of her pregnancy with Jeh. We have had such laughs! During both her pregnancies, I would continually have to remind her 'to sit like a lady'. And she would roll her eyes and say, 'I can't back my thunder thighs'. She was never guilty about enjoying her pizzas and burping. She was a trooper. Kareena was always on her feet, getting out there and doing her thing."

For the unversed, it was on her firstborn, Taimur Ali Khan’s fourth birthday when Kareena Kapoor Khan had announced her book and the news of becoming an author. She had shared, “I believe pregnancy is a natural process during which we should be active, healthy and happy. ln, this book I will tell you how I handled my own pregnancies and give you all the information you need to be happy in yours. This subject means a lot to me and I hope to create a book that will help and guide other women.”
In her book, Kareena has also mentioned that she had to take off her wedding ring as her fingers had started swelling up during her second pregnancy. Stating that she had to choose between pepperoni and her wedding ring, she added in her book, “I took off my rings by my eighth month. Forced to choose between my pepperoni and my wedding ring, I chose pepperoni."
