A photo montage is a composite image made by combining two or more photos into a brand new one. Creating a photo montage is relatively easy if you have the software. But the photographer will charge you more for this simple task. If you cannot afford it, then you can just as easily do the same at home. Here is a step by step process of preparing a photo montage with a few simple steps.
Step 1- Get the right software
If you have a home computer, you will require ADOBE PHOTSHOP or MICROSOFT PUBLISHER software that is available for download on the internet. They offer everything that you need to create a good photomontage on your computer. There are a few websites that will also create the photomontage for you online. You can then print out as many copies as you want by paying a nominal fee.
Step 2- Ask you photographer
Ask your photographer to send you a CD of the wedding photos that you can download for use on the software. You can even add to the software with artwork, borders and beer mats. Click the downloaded the software and then add the photos that you want to the software.
Step 3- Use the software
All software sets will have detailed instructions on how to use them. And ADOBE is frankly the easiest to use. Just add the photos and select the special effects that you want. You can also set a movie with fade ins and out of the photos you have selected. You can then save the movie or montage and export it to your wedding website so that your relatives can check it out.
All you have to do is let your photographer know what you want exactly and he does it for you. But you can do it just as well yourself.
