While speculations have been rife about Rishabh Singh Sambyal's relationship status, here's what he revealed during a live session on Instagram.
Is Major Rishabh Singh Sambyal married?
Following the report about his retirement, an SSB Crack report suggested that Major Rishabh Singh Sambyal decided to retire because of 'personal reasons'. The report also revealed that, during an Instagram Live two weeks ago, Rishabh shared that there are no marriage plans as of now. Now, a video from the IG Live session has made the rounds on social media. The video has been shared by Major Rishabh Singh Sambyal's fan page.
On the live, he was asked whether he was married. In response, the Major replied that there have been several reports about his relationship status, including claims that he has a wife or girlfriend. Rishabh also addressed the buzz claiming he would soon marry a foreigner and leave the country, which was also claimed to be the reason for him to leave the organisation.

However, none of these speculations is true. During the Instagram Live session, Major Rishabh Singh Sambyal confirmed that he is not married and he also doesn't have a girlfriend. He further clarified that there's no marriage plan in the near future, and promised that whenever something like this happens, he will definitely share the news. Major Rishabh Singh Sambyal, on Instagram Live, said:
"No, I'm not married. Uh, that I have a girlfriend. No, I don't have a girlfriend. That I will be marrying soon. There was news that came out that I'm leaving India because I'm planning to get married to a foreigner, and that is why I'm leaving the organisation and the country. I'm sorry, guys, this is not the case. I am not going to marry any foreigner, and there are no marriage plans in the near future. Even if it happens. So you all will come to know. That is my promise to all of you. But as of now, no, that's not the case."

Rishabh Singh Sambyal didn't disclose why he decided to step down from his role; however, he reportedly said during the live session that serving the nation had been his childhood dream, and he never thought he would have to leave so soon. He reportedly cited some personal and family reasons for his decision, while adding that he would soon share details about the next chapter of his life.

Speaking about his career, at a young age, the Major built an impressive career. His career began in 2013, when he cleared the NDA entrance exam. The following year (2014), Rishabh joined the National Defence Academy and earned a degree in International Relations and Affairs before joining the Indian Military Academy. In 2021, he won the Best Marching Contingent trophy for leading the Jat Regiment marching contingent at the Republic Day Parade on Rajpath. Two years later, in 2023, he was selected to serve as the Aide-de-Camp (ADC) to the President, Droupadi Murmu.
