Talking about her professional life, the actress was reported to mark her OTT debut with her first project, Jo Bachey Sang Samait Lo. However, in the last few days, reports have been claiming that Mahira has dropped out of the project due to a personal issue. A viral Reddit post claimed that Mahira is pregnant with her first child with Salim. However, the actress recently opened up about the same and revealed whether she is going to embrace parenthood yet again.

In a recent interview with the Express Tribune, Mahira Khan finally broke her silence about the ongoing buzz about her personal life, stating that she is expecting her second child. The actress debunked all such claims and mentioned that neither she is pregnant nor has she dropped out from her Netflix project. Mahira can be quoted as saying:

"It’s not true that I’m pregnant. And I haven’t left the Netflix series.”

On February 12, 2024, a netizen took to his/her IG handle and posted the news that stated that Mahira was expecting her first child with Salim Karim. The netizen's post featured a wedding photo of the actress, which was inscribed with a congratulatory message. However, Mahira replied to the post and penned that the claims were 'Not true'.

A viral Reddit post claimed Mahira Khan has opted out of her first Netflix project as she is pregnant

The buzz about Mahira Khan's second pregnancy started making rounds after a Reddit post went massively viral online. As per the post, a close source has stated that Mahira left a crucial Netflix project due to her pregnancy. The source also added that the actress is expecting her baby somewhere in August or September 2024. Sharing more about the same, the source mentioned that Mahira and Salim can make an official announcement soon, or they can also keep the deets lowkey till the baby is born.
