On August 21, 2019, Tara had entered the world of Mahhi and Jay. Since then, their Instagram feeds are filled with adorable pictures and video of their baby girl. The couple is making sure to give the best life to their daughter, Tara. On March 17, 2020, Mahhi took to her Instagram handle and shared a throwback picture of Tara when she was two-months-old. The little girl is looking like an adorable doll curled in Mahhi's arms. A few days ago, Mahhi's daughter, Tara had called her mumma for the first time. She shared a cute video, and wrote, "Today my daughter called me mumma.. Its v emotional day for me. This is what I prayed for,I must have done something nice in life to have become mother of such a beautiful child.Tara has filled my life with happiness. For those who don't know, Mahhi Vij and Jay Bhanushali are not new to parenthood as the duo had adopted their caretakers' children, Khushi and Rajveer. They didn't just decide to fund their education but also made sure to spend enough time with them. One look at their Instagram feeds and we cannot distinguish whether they are their biological kids or adopted. They put in special efforts in celebrating their birthdays and often go on holidays with them.
Jay and Mahhi had dreamt of having a baby girl as their first child. In an interview with the IANS, Jay had talked about becoming a father of a baby girl and had shared, "No relationship in the world can match the sanctity of a father-daughter relationship. I wish that my wife gives birth to a baby girl. I have no gender preference and it is not that I won’t like it if it’s a boy. It’s just that I have experienced the father-son connect with my dad, and now, I want to see how a daughter bonds with her dad."
