It was in July 2018 when Jay Bhanushali had promised babies to his wife, Mahhi Vij on Rajeev Khandelwal’s celebrity chat show, Juzz Baat. Using the show as a great opportunity, Jay had looked at Mahhi and announced, "We have been discussing having babies for a while now, so let us take this forward.” Mahhi obviously couldn't hold back her tears when she heard this. She had run and hugged Jay so tight that it only proved how she was longing for this day. (Also Read: Juhi Parmar's Daughter, Samairra's Extraordinary Gesture At A Party Made Her Mommy Super-Proud)
Fast forward to May 24, 2019, when Jay Bhanushali, keeping his promise to wife, Mahhi Vij, had announced that they are expecting their first child. Five years into marriage, Jay and Mahhi had adopted their caretaker’s kids, Khushi and Rajveer, and had decided to fund their education, inspiring millions of people with their noble cause. Now, the family of four is eagerly waiting for a cute addition in their ‘happily ever after’.
Ever since Mahhi Vij and Jay Bhanushali had announced that they will soon embrace parenthood, in every interview, they are flooded with questions about the same. Just a while back, Mahhi interacted with her fans on Instagram through the ‘Ask Me Anything’ feature, and the fans took this opportunity to the maximum by asking her questions about her pregnancy experience. From her due date, who is more nervous – she or Jay, pregnancy feelings to her pregnancy cravings and her excitement to embrace motherhood, Mahhi answered everything on her ‘Ask Me Anything’ session. A few days back, to mark the end of her seven months of being pregnant, Mahhi Vij had shared a list of things that her husband, Jay Bhanushali has been doing to provide her with the utmost love and care that she needs during this phase. Revealing that it is because of him that she is enjoying her pregnancy, Mahhi had written, “My unconditional support in this adventure. If I enjoyed this stage it's all because of you. I never expected you to be the way you are, you surprised me and how. I love you and respect @ijaybhanushali this journey would not have been possible without you. I am glad I don’t have to write sad sob stories about my pregnancy this phase made me stronger, weaker when it comes to my husband because all I want is him around little selfish on my part but that’s how I felt.” (Also Read: Taimur Ali Khan and Inaaya Naumi Kemmu Chill With Their Moms At A Farm, Special Guest Joins Them)
Mahhi Vij had further penned down how Jay Bhanushali has been a constant support for her even in the middle of the night. She had continued, “I am glad I chose u as my partner who is more excited than me about our baby arrival. Thank you for being part of every sonography every doctor visit your time is important for me. I love u @ijaybhanushali happy #7months #blessed #prayers #father #baby every woman deserves a man like you. Going to bed at 9 pm because I use to feel sleepy getting up in the night as many times I use to for loo, standing outside the washroom, no complains always smiling n feeling good. Man who loves sleeping his time his friends his everything gave up everything just to support me and make me feel loved. #loved #jaybhanushali #mystory”.
To this, her elated-cum-surprised partner, Jay Bhanushali had commented, “Maa kasam meri tareef... mujhe yakeen nahi ho raha hain... oye duniya walo dekho biwiyion ko apna sabse bada dushman maane walo... aurte pati ki tareef bhi kar sakti hain lolx”. And Mahhi Vij replied to his comment with lots of laughing emojis. Here’s the screenshot of the same:
Mahhi Vij and Jay Bhanushali, who are expecting their first child after nine years of married life, are making the most of their pregnancy phase by enjoying it to the fullest. But ever since Jay and Mahhi have announced the good news, they have been questioned about reasons behind their late pregnancy and if they had faced infertility issues. Putting all speculations to rest, Mahhi had written a soul-stirring note, revealing that it was her decision. Mahhi had written, "After so many messages on infertility!! I want to put this straight to all... that I was not going through any infertility issue!! It was my sole decision to wait and be a better child myself and do all my duties... I had my own share of responsibilities towards my parents... to have a child is beautiful... but to be a responsible child is much more... I choose the latter... be a good child to have one... enjoy cheers?? #daughterfirst #motherhood." To which, the doting husband had replied, "A mark of power girl, daughter, wife and future mother..you are fantastic just be happy."
Mahhi Vij and Jay Bhanushali had known their caretaker (who is the biological father of their adopted kids, Khushi and Rajveer) for over fifteen years and he is more like a family member to the couple. So, Jay and Mahhi have seen the two munchkins growing up since their birth. Speaking about funding the kids’ education and taking care of them just like they would do for their own kids, Mahhi had said in an interview with BollywoodLife, “A lot of people keep asking my friends if they are our kids because we feel that they are our kids. We want to give them best in our capabilities. I don’t care what people say they have all the time in the world to talk. They stay with us we have no issues of them being a part of our space. Kids are adorable, Jay and I love them. We want to educate them and yes in future even if we have our own kids we will give them same life. We will not differentiate. We want to give them best of everything just like we would want to give it our own kids.” (Also Read: Arjun Rampal Posts A Beautiful Picture Holding His Baby Boy's Little Hand For The First Time)
