Mahhi Vij Allegedly Talked About Possibility Of Finding Love, Months After Splitting Up With Jay

Mahhi Vij grabbed attention with her personal life when she and Jay Bhanushali announced their separation earlier this year. Mahhi and Jay's separation buzz had been rife for a long time; however, they continued to dismiss the speculations surrounding them until January 2026, when they announced their separation. For the unversed, Jay and Mahhi got married back in 2011 and welcomed their biological daughter, Tara, in 2019.

The couple also co-parents their two foster children. Jay and Mahhi didn't disclose the reason for their split; however, it came as a shock to their followers, given that the couple had been together for more than a decade. Mahhi recently talked about starting a 'second innings' in her life as she entered Salman Khan's show, Bigg Boss 20. The actress further mentioned that this season of Bigg Boss is 'divorce special', and the reason is that there are several contestants who have just ended their marriages, including her, Isha Rikhi and Mary Kom.

Jay and Mahhi seemingly have no bad blood between them, and they openly showered support for each other. Mahhi has been grabbing attention with her revelations in the Bigg Boss house for one reason or another. Most of the contestants have talked about not sharing personal life details on the show, including Mahhi. Recently, however, Mahhi allegedly talked about the possibilities of finding love again.

According to Telly Masala, Mahhi Vij, during a recent episode, reportedly revealed that she will start fresh if the right person enters her life. She also allegedly joked about having a 'billionaire' boyfriend.

According to the same report, Mahhi Vij went on with her jokes and mentioned that if she reveals her address and one of the 'billionaires' happens to develop feelings for her or falls for her, then she will definitely move forward and start fresh.

Mahhi Vij and Jay Bhanushali's relationship

Jay Bhanushali and Mahhi Vij were one of the much-loved couples. The duo crossed paths at a mutual friend's party back in 2008. It was love at first sight for Jay Bhanushali; however, even after that, the duo didn't speak much at their first meetup. Nearly a year later, Jay and Mahhi met again while clubbing, and during this time, the couple struck up a conversation and formed an instant connection.

While Jay was attracted to Mahhi from the beginning, she didn't give much attention to the same first and didn't recriprocate the same feeling. However, Jay Bhanushali kept pursuing her romantically, while she kept the focus on becoming close friends first. Jay, within three months of meeting Mahhi, knew that he wanted to marry her.

Jay proposed to Mahhi back in 2009, and the couple got married in 2011. In 2017, the couple took responsibility for their caretaker's two kids and became their foster parents. In 2019, Jay and Mahhi became parents to their biological kid, Tara. It was in 2026 that the couple announced their separation.
