Popular actor, Mahesh Babu is the son of superstar, Ghattamnaneni Siva Rama Krishna Murthy aka Krishna and his late wife, Indira Devi. Krishna is has acted in over 300 films across his 30 years-long illustrious career. He is also the recipient of Padma Bhushan. And the 79-year-old Krishna was last seen on screen in the 2016 Telugu film, Sri Sri. However, he was reportedly dealing with depression after losing his wife on September 28, 2022, and his elder son, Ramesh Babu on January 8, 2022. Thus, the veteran actor suffered mild cardiac arrest and was rushed to the hospital.
Earlier, on October 9, 2022, Mahesh Babu's wife, Namrata Shirokdar had taken to her IG handle and shared a heart-wrenching post for her mother-in-law, Indira Devi. In the picture, we could see Mahesh Babu, Namrata, their kids, Sitara and Gautham and Krishna along with Indira Devi's photograph in the backdrop. Along with it, she penned a note mentioning that Indira would continue to live on in their hearts and had written:
"Life comes a full circle as they say... and this now is my circle of life! Love you mamaiyya garu.. You're one of a kind and we're blessed to have you in our lives.. I know mummy would normally be in this family frame but from now on she will live on in our hearts and we will celebrate her every single day till we are on this side of the world. We know she's here protecting our family.. Love love and more love to you Mummy."

As per a report on India Tv, Mahesh Babu’s father, Krishna was rushed to Continental Hospital in Hyderabad around 1-2 am on November 14, 2022, in an unconscious state. Reportedly, he suffered from a cardiac arrest and was revived after performing CPR for 20 minutes. Currently, he is in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), where he will be monitored for the next 24 hours. Hospital Managing Director, Guru N. Reddy said:
"The next 24 hours will be critical. The actor is undergoing treatment in the Intensive Care Unit and is on a ventilator. He (Krishna) was brought to Continental Hospital in Gachibowli around 2 a.m. in an unconscious state after he suffered a cardiac arrest. The cardiologists immediately performed CPR and in 20 minutes he was brought out of cardiac arrest."
We also stumbled upon an official statement released by the Hospital authorities regarding Mahesh Babu's father, Krishna's current health condition. In the report, we can see the expert panel of doctors and medical staff who are all assigned to and looking after the superstar along with other major details of the same.

Earlier, Mahesh Babu's mother, Indira Devi had passed away at the age of 70 on September 28, 2022. And taking to her IG handle, Namrata Shirodkar had penned a heartbreaking note for her late saasu maa. She mentioned endless love for her saasu-maa and had written:
"We will miss you deeply... You're in my memory and all the love you gave me. I will shower on your son and your grandchildren and more. We love you mummy. Sending you endless love and light."
