Mahesh Babu had met his soulmate, Namrata Shirodkar while shooting for the Telegu film, Vamsi. By the end of the film, the two were madly-in-love with each other. On February 10, 2005, the couple had exchanged the wedding vows and had welcomed their first child, Gautham Krishna in 2006. The two had completed their family when they had welcomed their baby girl, Sitara in 2012. Mahesh and Namrata dote on their kids and never miss an opportunity to share glimpses of their personal life.
On the occasion of International Girl Child Day, i.e., October 11, 2020, Mahesh Babu took to his IG handle and shared a beautiful picture of his baby girl, Sitara. Along with the picture, he penned a heartwarming note expressing how proud he is to have a baby girl. His note can be read as “There is no greater gift than a girl child! Proud of my little one, who's trying to create her own little world on her terms. Let your dreams not be ignored, let your voice be heard. Be strong. Fight for what's rightfully yours!! There's no doubt that just like any other father-daughter duo out there, Mahesh Babu is also extremely close to his daughter, Sitara. On July 20, 2020, Sitara had turned 8-year-old, and her parents and brother had showered immense love on her through their heartwarming posts on their respective Instagram handles. But her daddy's wish was the best one as he had taken to his Instagram handle and had shared a beautiful IGTV video of his daughter, Sitara. The video was a compilation of Sitara's unseen memories from her childhood till now. Sharing the video, Mahesh had penned a little note for his daughter in the simplest manner ever. He had written, "So fast so 8 I love you as you will never know Wishing you a very happy birthday Parpi #SituPapaTurns8 @sitaraghattamaneni" followed by heart emoticons. On March 25, 2020, Namrata had taken to her Instagram handle and had shared a beautiful collage featuring her daughter, Sitara having a great time with her daddy, Mahesh Babu. Along with the lovely collage, Namrata had also written that her daughter was extremely happy hearing the news of the lockdown as her dad would be at home for the next 21 days. Her caption could be read as “It’s the initial ‘go crazy ‘with happiness when they hear it’s 21-day lockdown and all she’s going to see is so much more of her favourite !! Sitara has her own Instagram handle, which is filled with pictures and videos of her family. On October 9, 2020, Sitara had taken to her IG handle and had shared a picture of her early Diwali gift from mommy, Namrata. It was a beautiful ring with Sai Baba’s image on it. Sitara had captioned the picture as “My Diwali gift came early!! It’s a Saibaba ring. My Amma says I should wear this forever... her mum gave her one when she was 8 and she still wears it, now it’s my turn.
