Lucky Ali took to his social media handle and shared a video that featured his recent concert. In the clip, the veteran singer was seen turning emotional as he candidly spoke about death and his preparedness for the same. Addressing his fans, Lucky Ali said that he loves them all, while adding that one day, he will have to leave.
Lucky Ali further added that he's not preparing his fans for his death, but he himself is prepared. The veteran singer took a moment and shared that he travels with his burial cloth, while expressing his wish to be buried where he will breathe his last. Lucky Ali's exact words were:
"I know, I love you all too. But one day, I have to go, na. I am not preparing you for it, but I am prepared, actually. Whenever I travel, I travel with my Ihram, which is my burial cloth. Jaha bhi marr jau, wahi gaad do mujhe."
A look at Lucky Ali's career in the Bollywood music and acting world
Lucky Ali, born to Bollywood actor Mehmood Ali and Mahelaka, aka Madhu Ali, grabbed attention with his single, O Sanam, from Sunoh, which established him as a singer, gaining massive popularity. In 1996, Lucky Ali made his debut in Bollywood music and lent his voice to the song Nasha Nasha from the movie Dushman Duniya Ka. Lucky Ali lent his voice to playback singing in films like The Melody of Life, Bachna Ae Haseeno, Anjaana Anjaani and Tamasha, among others.
He also worked with famous composers like A.R Rahman, Vishal Bhardwaj, Vishal–Shekhar, Mikey McCleary, Prashant Pillai, Varun Ahuja and Rajiv Bhalla. Apart from singing, Lucky Ali also showed his skills in the acting world and was a part of several projects in movies and television. He was seen as a child artist in Chote Nawab, which was directed by Mehmood Ali. He has credits in movies like Yehi Hai Zindagi, Hamare Tumhare, Shyam Benegal's Trikaal and others, and TV series like Zara Hatke, Bharat Ek Khoj and many more.
It was last year when Lucky Ali sparked speculations about his fourth marriage by expressing his wish to do the same. In his personal life, Lucky had been married thrice; however, all of his marriages ended in divorce. The singer first got married to an Australian, Meaghan Jane McCleary, in 1996, with whom he shares two kids, Ta’awwuz and Tasmiyah. His second marriage was with Inaya (Anahita) from Persia, which happened in 2000. The ex-couple have two children, Sara and Raiyan. His third marriage was with British model and former beauty queen Kate Elizabeth Hallam in 2010, with whom he has a son, Dani. To add, the couple parted ways in 2017.
