The boy who made things come true with his magic pencil in Shaka Laka Boom Boom has grown up to become a handsome boy. Kinshuk Vaidya made his debut as an adult with Kavita Barjatya's telly debut, Ek Rishta Sanjhedari Ka, alongside Shivya Pathania.

The on-screen pairing of these two sweethearts was quite appreciated by their fans. The show wrapped up quite early, but the two have confirmed that they are much in love with each other. Here is the adorable love tale of Kinshuk and Shivya.
Kinshuk and Shivya's fans fondly call them ArChi, based on their character names in their show, Aryan and Sanchi. They came up with this name following their impeccable on-screen chemistry which was a result of their off-screen bonding. The two became friends while shooting together and soon started dating.
Talking about how it all began, Kinshuk gushed:
“We have had an amazing bond right from day one. With some people, your frequencies match instantly and for me, she definitely is one of them. Our bond has only got stronger with time.”
Shivya realised her feelings a little later than Kinshuk. It was his absence that made her miss him terribly. She shared:
“When he wasn’t around me, I started missing him. That is when I realised kuch toh gadbad hai. I realised that I am not watching any videos online at night but thinking whether I should call him or not...I was like...shit main to phas gayi.”

Kinshuk and Shivya are opposites of each other as far as their temperaments are concerned. She is very goofy and talkative, while he is conservative and quiet. Yet, the two have so many similarities.

Sharing their experience, Kinshuk said:
“I had always heard about opposites attract. In the show, Aryan and Sanchi had quite similar tastes. Even in real life, we think alike. I had come up with this caption – Opposites attract alike few. Opposites attract, but when you are alike aap usme ghul mil jaate ho...ek ho jaate ho. The best thing about Shivya is her energy. She is a livewire. She can do anything.”
To have a steady relationship when you are working in the entertainment industry can be tough. While most couples prefer to be low-key about their relationships, Kinshuk and Shivya are proud to have each other.
Explaining their decision of being vocal about their relationship, Shivya asserted:
“Our professional and personal lives are different. We believe in ourselves and Kinshuk says, ‘Agar real life me hero nahin ban sake to on-screen hero banne ka kya fayda.’ That is one thing which doesn’t make us pretentious. When you are in love, you should be open about it. When it comes to professionalism, being in love doesn’t hamper your work.”

Kinshuk loves Shivya's goofiness. When asked why he adores Shivya so much, he said:
“I like her eyes, the way she goofs up. She has a lot of foot in the mouth moments. She is always herself. Bina soche samjhe kahin bhi kuch bhi bol deti hai. She is Shivya, she can pass off with things like that. She is the craziest person I have ever met.”
And when Shivya was asked the same question, Shivya expressed:
"In today’s date and time, he is a person who is very close to his parents. He is a mama’s boy and he accepts that. That is the best thing I like about him. Secondly, while many people want to hide their relationship and roam around saying ‘we are just friends’, he is very committed and vocal about it. He does not like to hide. Thirdly, I can just be myself around him and he is very supportive. We can share our dreams and aspirations with each other. Sometimes, he makes me wonder if he is for real.”
Kinshuk and Shivya's parents know about each other and are comfortable with their decision. The couple has even discussed marriage, but they are in no hurry to tie the knot. They both want to focus on their careers before they take the wedding vows.
