Loni Willison's Ex-Husband, Jeremy Broke Silence On Their Cause Of Divorce And Her Homelessness

During a conversation with the Daily Mail, Jeremy opened up about what went wrong in their marriage.

Jeremy Jackson and Loni Willison were deeply in love and dreamt of a happy family life and an eternity of togetherness. However, everything went downhill due to Loni's mental health deterioration. During a 2018 interview with the Daily Mail, Jeremy opened up about his ex-wife for the first time. He regretted not being able to hold on to her and bring her back to normal life. Calling Loni the woman he loved, he stated that separating from her felt like parting with someone after their death. Lamenting on their lost connection, he mentioned:

"Losing her was like the death of somebody, and I tried to bring her back, and I couldn't. The woman I was in love with is gone, and whoever she is mentally now is not who I knew."

Jeremy's comments on his ex-wife came four years after their split. However, he still couldn't move on from the heartache. Stating that he "lost the love of my [his] life", the actor mentioned not wanting to spend his life with any other woman. He didn't want to get engaged or married again, as Loni Willison was the only woman he ever loved and wanted to tie the knot with. Jeremy Jackson's exact words were:

"I lost the love of my life. I lost the only woman I've ever proposed to, the only woman I've ever wanted to marry. I'm 44 years old. I still have not proposed or wanted to marry anyone else. She was my choice, the only choice I ever made, and I lost it."

Jeremy Jackson shared the reason for his divorce from Loni Willison

Jeremy Jackson claimed that in the final year of their marriage, Loni Willison suffered from worsening panic attacks, hallucinations, and paranoia. He stated that she began accusing him of things that were "completely delusional." According to him, her erratic behaviour, including hearing voices and fear of stabbing others, made their relationship unsustainable. He reportedly admitted that their marriage was marked by physical abuse and "drunken rows."
