Lnside Shia LaBeouf And His Wife, Mia Goth's Relationship Amid The Actor's Arrest And Split Reports

Shia LaBeouf is a popular American actor and filmmaker. He began his career in the late '90s and gained recognition after appearing on Disney Channel's weekly program, Even Stevens. He said that being cast in the show was the "best thing" that has ever happened to him. As LaBeouf's career took off, he went on to star in a number of hit films and series, including Constantine, Transformers, Lawless, and Fury, to name a few. It is worth mentioning that LaBeouf has also tried his hand at directing music videos, making his debut with rapper, Cage's I Never Knew You.   

Currently, it seems like the actor has found himself in the midst of some legal trouble, which reportedly led to his arrest. Online court records show that LaBeouf was arrested on two charges of simple battery in New Orleans during the Mardi Gras celebration. While Shia LaBeouf is grabbing headlines for all the wrong reasons, curiosity about his personal life has also grown. For the unversed, he is married to actress, Mia Goth. Shia LaBeouf and Mia Goth met for the first time during the filming of Nymphomaniac: Vol. II  

Shia LaBeouf and Mia Goth first met more than a decade ago, in 2012. With both of them being actors, they crossed paths on the set of Lars von Trier's 2013 film, Nymphomaniac: Vol. II. In the film, LaBeouf played the role of 'Jerôme', and Goth played 'P'. Notably, the second instalment of the erotic thriller marked Goth's big screen debut.

Many might not be aware, but Mia Goth appeared in one of the music videos that her now-husband, Shia LaBeouf, directed. The video in question was for Future Unlimited's 2013 single, Haunted Love.  The very next year, on October 19, 2014, LaBeouf and Goth made their first red carpet debut together as a couple. The event was the closing-night gala screening of LaBeouf's film, Fury. For the occasion, Goth stunned in a black lace dress while her then-boyfriend kept things classy with a black tuxedo.

In March 2015, Goth and LeBeouf sparked engagement rumours for the first time. It happened after the A Cure for Wellness actress was spotted wearing a sparkly ring on her ring finger at the Paris Fashion Week. A source at the time told People: 

“They seem very happy and spend a lot of time together. Shia is a big goof, and Mia is the same way. They are usually just laughing and seem to have a great time.”

After sparking engagement rumours for the second time in March 2016, Goth and LeBeouf tied the knot just a few months later, in October of the same year. During their Las Vegas wedding, which was live-streamed at the time, an Elvis Presley impersonator reportedly presided over the entire ceremony. It is worth noting that local officials later confirmed that the actors' marriage was not legally binding. A few days later, Clark County, Nevada, posted on their social media, “Our records show no marriage license for Shia LaBeouf & Mia Goth. A commitment ceremony was performed #Vegas.” While talking about the wedding ceremony on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, LaBeouf said, “We're proud of it. It was love.” 

Mia Goth and Shia LaBeouf filed for divorce after an “amicable” split 

In 2018, after a few years of marriage, a representative for LaBeouf confirmed to People that the couple were calling it quits. Claiming that they have filed for divorce, the source added that LaBeouf and Goth's separation was “amicable and all details pertaining to the divorce proceedings will remain private.”

Almost two years after their split, in March 2020, it seemed like LaBeouf and Goth had reunited. According to reports, the duo were seen out together in public. Not only did they appear to be cosying up, but they were also seen wearing their wedding rings. It is worth noting that before they reconciled, LaBeouf dated Good to Love singer, FKA Twigs, for about a year. Based on reports online, LaBeouf and Goth's reconciliation was short-lived. This is because on December 21, 2020, LaBeouf was seen kissing Margaret Qualley.

It was on June 6, 2021, that LaBeouf and Goth reunited once again. Apparently, the couple were seen out and about on a bike ride together in California. Just weeks after their bike ride date, they were spotted again, this time walking arm in arm at Disneyland. Their relationship seemed to be going well this time around, as on January 28, 2022, Goth revealed that she was pregnant and showed off her growing baby bump when she stepped out in Pasadena, California. For the day, Goth chose to dress comfortably, sporting black leggings and Birkenstocks.  

While we do not know the exact date of LaBeouf and Goth's child's birth, in April 2022, the new parents were seen pushing a stroller around Pasadena. Later, in August 2022, Shia LaBeouf confirmed that the couple had welcomed a daughter in a letter he wrote to his former Don't Worry Darling director, Olivia Wilde. He wrote:  

"I have a little girl, Isabel; she is five months old and just beginning to develop the last half of her laugh; it's AMAZING. Mia, my wife & I have found each other again & are journeying toward a healthy family with love and mutual respect." 

As of 2026, it is unclear whether Shia LaBeouf and Mia Goth are still together. However, a while back, a source exclusively told Page Six that the duo quietly called it quits nearly a year ago.
