Jason Momoa And Lisa Bonet Reunite, Years After Their Split To Be A Part Of Daughter's Achievement

Lisa Bonet and Jason Momoa were once considered Hollywood's much-loved couple. The duo met at a jazz club in 2005, and once a fanboy of Lisa, Jason wooed her. The couple started dating, and in 2007, they welcomed their first daughter, Lola. A year later, in 2008, they welcomed their son.

In 2017, the couple got married, and it was in 2020 that they quietly separated, while announcing the same to their fans. In 2024, Lisa and Jason finalised their divorce. Jason has moved on, and he's currently dating Adria Arjona, while nothing about Lisa's dating life is known. However, years after finalising their divorce, Lisa and Jason reunited, and the reason was their daughter, Lola.

Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet left their fans heartbroken when they announced their separation through a now-deleted post, however, they revealed back then that they would continue to coparent their kids, and they have been doing the same since that time. On Thursday, i.e. June 4, 2026, Jason and Lisa were spotted together as they became a part of their daughter, Lola's high-school graduation ceremony. The ex-couple was seen posing with their daughter as the 18-year-old graduated from California State University, Los Angeles.

Jason, in one photo, was seen fulfilling his dad duties by helping his daughter put on colourful Hawaiian leis. To mention, Momoa was born in Hawai'i, and it was a nod to his culture. Lisa, on the other hand, looked stunning, flaunting her ever-so-gorgeous bohemian style. However, the photos from Lola's graduation ceremony left people in awe, mainly due to the reference to the ex-couple being devoted co-parents to their kids.

Lisa Bonet and Jason Momoa always referred to each other as husband and wife; however, it was not until 2017 that they were married. The couple secretly tied the knot in Topanga, California, and speaking about the same to Entertainment Weekly, the actor said, they have been married for 12 years, and the occasion was a celebration of their love for each other. However, it was three years later that the couple separated and announced the same on social media. They shared a statement and mentioned that he would always be there for their family. The now-deleted post could be read as:

"The love between us carries on, evolving in ways it wishes to be known and lived. We free each other to be who we are learning to become … Our devotion unwavering to this sacred life & our Children Teaching our Children What's possible Living the Prayer May Love Prevail J & L."

The exact reason for their split was not known; however, sources revealed that they grew apart because of their different focus in life. A source revealed to PEOPLE during that time that while staying apart often turns out to be fruitful for several marriages, it was a 'disaster' in Lisa and Jason's case. Jason and Lisa had joint legal and physical custody of their two children, and they have been fulfilling their duties, being devoted. 

The duo has been respectful and close throughout their co-parenting journey. Jason has always tagged Lisa as 'ohana' (family). Jason is a cool dad; however, he earlier spoke about the same and mentioned that it has entered into a bittersweet phase, given that his children are now in high school and want to spend most of the time with their friends, which makes him feel that he is losing his 'cool factor'.
