YouTuber, Lilly Singh, a Candian comedian, and most of us know her Superwoman (her earlier YouTube channel's name). The gorgeousness has always believed in talking her heart out and opening up to what she truly believes. Whether it is her take on brown parents or the life journey, she has never used any filter to portray the story of living in 'Lalala land'. Recently, Lilly Singh booked a private plane for her entire family and has been crying tears made up of dollar signs.
The 33-year-older, Lilly Singh has gained immense popularity all over the world. A while ago, in her TED Talk, Lilly had shared her birth story and had revealed that her mother's family had asked her not to phone them if she gave birth to another daughter as they had high hopes of welcoming a song.
In the latest post on Instagram, Lilly Singh shared pictures of spending happy time as she booked a chartered plane for her entire family and her pooch was on it too. The pictures beautifully depicted Lilly's entire family's happiness. However, Lilly talked about the reason for booking the chartered plane wasn't to show off her money, but to manage work. She said:
"I know I’m supposed to flex on the gram like money ain’t a thang but here’s the true story behind these pics. I had to fly back to Canada to do the CGT finale this week, but I’m also shooting a show in LA. So the only way to make both commitments work was to go to Canada for Monday and Tuesday BUT be back at work in LA on Wednesday morning. There are no commercial flights that do this trip so late in the night."
Lilly further shared that it was a super expensive trip, and she had cried tears made of dollar signs. And we all can relate to it. However, nothing is expensive in front of your family's happiness, and Lilly got the chance to be the reason behind d their laughter. She wrote:
"So I reluctantly and painfully had to drop a huge sum of money to charter a plane in order to meet both of my work commitments. I was so stressed about it. I spent days avoiding the booking and trying to find another way (there wasn’t one.) But then I looked at my vision board and right in the middle is a quote that says “more family time.” I booked the plane and invited my entire family to fly back to LA with me. In my heart, the only thing that could justify this cost was giving my loved ones an experience and trip of a lifetime. So yeah, I cried tears made of dollar signs, but on the bright side, my family is here. And that’s a bigger flex than anything. Because why else do we work this hard."
Well, Lilly Singh is an inspiration! What do you think?
