Late Rapper, MC Tod Fod's Mother Reveals Her Son Knew He Was Going To Die In The Coming Days

The Indian rap society had suffered a massive loss on March 20, 2022, when Dharmesh Parmar renowned by his stage name, MC Tod Fod had passed away. The young rapper was just 24 years old, and his untimely demise had sent shockwaves across the nation. He had given so many iconic tracks to the music industry and had also worked in Ranveer Singh starrer, Gully Boy.

The news of Dharmesh Parmar's demise had come to light on March 22, 2022. However, he had passed away on March 20, 2022. According to multiple reports, one of MC Tod Fod's close friends had reportedly told a news portal about his demise and had also revealed the reason behind it. The source had stated:

"He (Dharmesh Parmar) was suffering from other health issues as well, but he died due to a stroke on Sunday."

In an interview with Dainik Bhaskar, late rapper, MC Tod Fod's mother opened up about her son's demise due to a heart attack at the age of 24. The doting mother admitted that she is devastated, and it's incredibly hard for her to survive now as her son is gone. When she was asked to shed some light on the reasons behind her son's demise, she shockingly revealed that the late rapper was aware of his fate. Dharmesh's mother revealed that he had celebrated Raksha Bandhan with his sisters a day before Holi because he was aware of his death. She said:

"Perhaps he knew he was not going to return home. He celebrated the festival of Raksha Bandhan just a day before Holi (when he left for Nasik). He has two younger sisters. I do not know what came to his mind, but he celebrated Rakhi, not just with his sisters, but also his aunt's daughters."

Going further in the interview, late Dharmesh Parmar a.k.a., MC Tod Fod's mother also opened up about her son's immense love for rap and music. She also revealed that her son had already suffered two heart attacks before his death. While the first one had occurred to him during his trip to Ladakh, the second heart attack he had suffered while he was home. Dharmesh's mother also added that her son had never rested and used to work on his raps and music composition despite undergoing heart surgery. She said:

"He underwent heart surgery as well, but he never used to rest. He was crazy about rap and loved music more than his own life. My child is now gone, and I could not do anything to save him."

For the unversed, MC Tod Fod was one of the biggest names in the hip-hop society and was a big part of the Mumbai-based collective named Swadesi. He was also one of the 18 artists, who had contributed to Zoya Akhtar's film, Gully Boy's album. After the news of his demise had made its way in the media, Zoya Akhtar was one of the first people from the film fraternity, who had mourned this talented rapper's demise. The filmmaker had shared his picture and a heartbreaking note, in which she had praised him for his contribution to rap culture in India. Her note in the caption could be read as:

"You have gone way too soon. I can only be grateful our paths crossed. Rest in peace Bantai #mctodfod @todfod.”
