Rashtriya Janta Dal patriarch, Lalu Yadav has been going through a tough phase lately. He was earlier jailed for his involvement in fodder cases. He has also been hospitalised several times in Delhi and Ranchi for his health problems. Now, the doctor suggested Lalu for a kidney transplant, and it's his daughter, Roshni Acharya, who is willing to donate her father a kidney.
On the personal front, Lalu Yadav tied the knot with Rabri Devi in an arranged marriage on June 1, 1973. They are blessed with three sons, Tejashwi, Tej Pratap and Dhannu Yadav, and seven daughters, Misa Bharti, Roshni Acharya, Raj Laxmi, Hema, Ragini, Chanda and Anushka.

On November 10, 2022, while scrolling through our IG handle, we stumbled upon a picture of Lalu Yadav and his Singapore-based daughter, Roshni Acharya. Alongside the picture, it was stated that a close relative of the Yadav family has confirmed that his daughter will donate her kidney to her father.
However, as soon as the post went viral on the internet, netizens started to troll the politician’s sons for not coming forward to help their father in this difficult situation. One user wrote, “Kya faida itne bete paida karne ka jab kaam betiya he aati hai jarurat padhne par.” Another netizen penned, “Daughters, Stri se badha koi balidani nahi.”

Earlier, in the Shah Rukh Khan hosted show, Kya Aap Paanchvi Pass Se Tez Hai (2008), Lalu Yadav appeared as a guest. During the game show, SRK showed a monochrome picture of his family on the screen and asked the former Bihar Chief Minister to tell their names to the audience. After this, Lalu said that the lady was his wife, Rabri Devi, holding their two daughters. But when SRK asked his daughter's name, Lalu had given a hilarious yet shocking reply. He had said:
“Naam toh hum bhula gaye hai.”
