However, just like any other person, Kylie Jenner also has had her thoughts on being a young mom. She admitted that having two kids by the age of 24 made her lose some of the best years of her 20s.
Kylie Jenner shared her thoughts on embracing motherhood at the age of twenty and how she lost her best years
For the unversed, Kylie Jenner's motherhood journey began when she was just 19 years old. She is a mother of two toddlers, an eight-year-old daughter, Stormi, and a five-year-old son, Aire, whom she shares with her ex-partner, Travis Scott. Recently, the 29-year-old Kylie Cosmetics founder bared her heart out on being a young mother.
In a new profile for Who What Wear, Kylie expressed her thoughts on having children by her early twenties. She stated that she feels like she has lived an adult life when she was too young. However, she is making sure she does not have any regrets and does brave things. She said:
"Even though I already have children — so young — I feel like i lived such an adult life when I was young, and I’m trying to make sure that I don’t have any regrets and to do brave things and give myself more opportunities or take advantage of the ones I have."
Kylie Jenner also revealed that she made a promise to herself at the age of 25 that she would not have any more children. She just wants to enjoy the rest of her 20s, as the first half was nothing but filled with 'pregnancy,' then a year of recovering from it, while her mental state and postpartum phase took some of those young years of her life. She said:
"I made a promise to myself at 25 that I was not going to have any more children — right now — and really just enjoy the last half of my 20s because the first was like, ‘You’re pregnant,’ and then it’s the year of recovery, and you know, my mental state, my postpartum depression, and all of those things. It felt like I lost some of those young years of my life."
Recently, Kylie Jenner addressed the rumours of being pregnant with another child. She stated that she couldn't imagine carrying another child while speaking with her friend Yris Palmer during a cameo on the reality TV series, The Girls. She also expressed her thoughts on welcoming another child via surrogacy and stated that she would never opt for it.
When Kylie Jenner talked about embracing children at a young age
In an earlier interaction, Kylie Jenner talked about her first pregnancy and stated that she got pregnant at the age of 19 and by 20 her daughter came into her world, but it was wild, and her life changed drastically. She stated that her children are a big part of her life and they keep supporting her.
Kylie shared that no matter what the internet writes about her, the moment she reaches her home, her kids shower her with unconditional love. Kylie also stated that the challenges of being a young mother. She stated that it is challenging to keep up with the friends who do not have children and they make impromptu plans, which she can't be a part of. However, Kylie is happy that when she would be 40, she would be having a 20-year-old and they would be having great relationship.
