Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone can safely be hailed as the power couple of Bollywood. The duo tied the knot on November 14, 2018, in an intimate wedding ceremony in Italy. The duo never skips a chance to paint the town red with their mushy romance and fairy-tale life. And the same happened when the high-profile celebrity duo graced the 'manifestation couch' of Koffee With Karan season 8.
On this talk show, both Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone opened up about a lot of things, including their courtship period, their marriage, the dreamy proposal, and more. Even the duo's wedding video is now all over the internet and has been swooning hearts. However, in KWK 8, Deepika also talked about the darkest phase of her life when she was going through depression. The diva also shared how her then-boyfriend, Ranveer, stood by her like a strong pillar.

For those who don't know, Deepika Padukone went through a tough period back in 2014. Now, in KWK 8, while talking about how Ranveer Singh was there for her, Deepika said that the actor created a safe space for her. The actress also revealed that Ranveer stood there beside her and was really patient toward her. Deepika said:
“What he did at that point was that he created a safe space for me to open up. Not once did he say, 'It's okay, forget it', or 'just let's go on a drive' or anything of that sort. At that point, he didn't understand it much, today he understands it a lot better. But he was just all there. He has been so patient. It told me a lot about the person that he is.”
On the other hand, Ranveer Singh opened up about a vivid memory of when he felt helpless after knowing there was something wrong with Deepika. Ranveer recalled back in 2014, he got an emergency call from Deepika while he was busy shooting. The actor said that Deepika called and asked him to reach home, saying that she had a blackout. Ranveer said:
"When it first happened in 2014, I was shooting and she called and she said 'I've had a blackout and I've had a fall. Can you come home?' and it was literally 'I am coming'. I literally cut the call and I was on my bike. Like, I was just out of there. And then when I went and I saw her, something wasn't right."
Ranveer Singh further revealed how Deepika was during that time. He recalled the actress being there in front of him but not being present at that moment. The actor mentioned that one incident he would never forget was when Deepika started crying suddenly and not being able to tell what made her cry. The Gully Boy actor said he would never forget this as he felt completely helpless. Ranveer recalled:
"She wasn't all there. You know, she is with you, she is in front of you, she is looking at you but she is not all there. And I remember this one... and I will never forget when I knew this is a very serious problem. One day at breakfast she was sitting across from me and she was just crying and there were just tears, copious tears flowing down. And, at a human level, the most basic question is 'kya hua, baby?' and she also doesn't know what to say to me. She's like 'I don't know'."

For those who don't know, on KWK season 8, DeepVeer's wedding video was played, and oh boy, it surely melted the hearts of their massive fanbase.
