Falling in love is definitely the most amazing feeling which can hardly be expressed in words. Real life princess and actress, Soha Ali Khan and actor, Kunal Kemmu are the perfect examples of how opposites attract. Soha is an epitome of grace and beauty, who had inherited her royal looks from her parents, Sharmila Tagore and Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi. On the other hand, Kunal Kemmu had made his Bollywood debut as a child artist and had returned to Bollywood in 2005 with the film, Kalyug. Soha and Kunal being completely opposite to each other, never even thought of becoming friends. But as they say, certain things are meant to happen and that is exactly what happened with Soha Ali Khan and Kunal Kemmu. It was in 2009, when the two had met on the sets of their film, Dhoondte Reh Jaaoge and the two didn’t even speak much to each other. It was only after their second film, 99, they had gotten closer and were later madly-in-love with one another. Before tying the knot, Soha and Kunal had decided to have a live-in relationship to understand each other better. It was in 2014 when Kunal had popped the question to Soha in Paris, to which, she had promptly replied ‘yes’. The two had gotten engaged in 2014 and on January 25, 2015, the gorgeous princess of the Pataudi khandaan had tied the knot with the handsome hunk, Kunal Kemmu.
We recently stumbled upon a video where Kunal Kemmu had graced the sets of The Kapil Sharma Show to promote his film, Malang with his co-stars, Aditya Roy Kapoor, Disha Patani and Anil Kapoor. During the show, Kunal was told that rumours had it that he used to keep a dictionary whenever he had a fight with wife, Soha Ali Khan. To which, the actor had replied that during their dating days, whenever he and Soha would fight, she would throw a heavy English word at him which he would fail to understand and would google it later.
In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Kunal had revealed what was his first impression when he had met Soha for the first time. Talking about the same, he had revealed, “My first impression was that here is this Oxford graduate and I don't know why she is acting in films. When I met her on the sets, she was writing an article on her laptop to send to Oxford University for their magazine. So I thought, this is serious stuff, I should think before I start a conversation with her. We didn’t speak much. I respected her as a professional. It was only towards the end of Dhoondte... that we happened to spend some time on the sets. It was very interesting because she’s had an upbringing completely different from mine, so the stories of her life were very different — hers were about Oxford and mine were about local trains. But even then, we used to have a lot of healthy debates and that’s how we got talking. Gradually it developed into a relationship." On September 29, 2017, Soha Ali Khan and Kunal Kemmu had welcomed their little bundle of joy, Inaaya Naumi Kemmu into their lives. In an interview with The Times of India, Soha had talked about how after five years of their marriage, the two are more mature and understanding towards each other. Giving credit to parenthood for getting more stability into their marriage, Soha had shared, “There was a time when I would try to change Kunal and wanted him to behave the way I expected. But, over time, I realised that he is who he is, and I am who I am, and we have learned to co-exist without trying to change each other.”
Soha Ali Khan and Kunal Kemmu’s life had taken a complete U-turn with the arrival of their little munchkin, Inaaya. As per the reports of the Deccan Chronicle, Kunal had stated that he and Soha became different people after the birth of Inaaya and are still learning the dos and don’ts of parenting. Adding further he had said that earlier they would just spend the whole day watching television but now, things are different.
