One of the dashing television actors and Ishqbaaz fame, Kunal Jaisingh aka Omkara. Along with surprising everyone with his engagement news, he also shattered many hearts too.
The actor recently exchanged rings with his The Buddy Project co-star Bharati Kumar, who has now turned to dance therapist. It’s been five long years that the two have been dating and Kunal has successfully managed to keep this relationship under the wraps until now. In a recent interview with Bombay Times, Kunal talked about his lady-love and said, “I am happy that my parents agreed to our match. I have always wanted to settle down with a girl like Bharati... she is homely, genuine, humble and respects elders. These are qualities that are difficult to find in today’s women.”
When he was asked how he popped the question, he gushed, “There were no romantic proposals, we just decided to be with each other. The wedding will happen soon.” He was also probed to tell why he kept his relationship with Bharati a secret all this while, he replied, “I had my reasons, but it was definitely not because I am an actor and I feared losing out on projects. We wanted our parents to know it before announcing the news to the world. On March 18, 2018, the actor took to his official social media accounts and announced this happy news to all his fans. He shared the below picture from their ceremony and captioned it, “Hellooooooo fiancé!! #newbeginnings.” Their ceremony coincided with auspicious occasion of Gudi Padwa. It was a low-key affair in the presence of close friends and family members at Iskon Temple in Juhu. Here’s the picture of the two from their engagement that Kunal shared:
Kunal did give everyone a hint when he took to Instagram to wish the love of his life. On Bharati’s birthday (January 26, 2018), he took to social media and shared a picture of the two, captioning it as, “Here is wishing a very very happy birthday to the most wonderful girl i know you are beautiful inside and out the most humble and loving and caring person i have ever known i wish you all the love and luck and pray that you achieve all your goals and fulfil all your dreams.”
