Krystal D'Souza Reacts To Buzz Around Her Replacing Tamannaah In 'Shararat Fiasco', 'She Wouldn't..'

Dhurandhar has broken all box-office records, and the cast has gained immense love from viewers for their work in the film. After a long gap, a film has managed to entice the audience completely. From the songs to the cast selection, VFX, and the acting itself, fans have been loving it all. However, amid that, Krystal D'Souza has been facing some flak over speculation that she replaced Tamannaah Bhatia in the song, Shararat Fiasco. And now, the actress has finally reacted to the buzz.

Krystal D'Souza has been garnering praise for her performance in Dhurandhar's Shararat Fiasco alongwith Ayesha Khan. While the actress was immensely appreciated for the song, some people misinterpreted choreographer Vijay Ganguly's words, assuming Tamannaah Bhatia was the first choice for the song, only to be replaced by Krystle D'Souza and Ayesha Khan. Despite Vijay's clarification that Tamannaah was never approached for the song, the buzz continued to grow.

And now, the actress herself has reacted to the speculations. In a conversation with the Free Press Journal, Krystle D'Souza said she believes Tamannaah Bhatia would have nailed the song, but also called out the culture of pitting people against each other. She was quoted as saying:

"Honestly, I mean, I did see it, and I felt like she would have killed it in her own way. She would have owned it, and, you know, sometimes what's written for whoever it's written is what'll happen. You can't change anything like that. Whether approached or not, I'm sure she would have nailed it. Like, there's no way that she wouldn't kill it. And even if Ayesha was alone in the song, she would have killed it. If I were alone in the song, I would have killed it. Everyone would have done what they could do best."

In the same conversation, Krystle D'Souza shared that she would never take anything away from someone who has put in the work. She acknowledged the work Tamannaah Bhatia has put in to earn her place in the industry. The actress concluded by stating that everyone was doing their bit and that there was enough room for everyone to co-exist and thrive without taking away from one another. She was quoted as saying:

"So, I'm never going to take away from anyone who's hardworking, who's self-made, who has been consistent and is ready to put in the effort. So, I feel like she's doing big things. She's going to do bigger things. And this is our time, and we are doing things, and we are going to do bigger things. So, there's enough sun for everyone, as I've always said."

Krystle D'Souza also reflected on how people often pit peers against one another, drawing comparisons between them. However, she claimed there was no need to tear someone down for the other person to shine. She also emphasised how these comparisons could affect someone mentally and stated:

"Everyone needs to shine like Ranveer Singh; let us shine. To bring somebody up, you don't need to bring others down. I don't know how many times I need to say this. But just to bring another person up, please don't tear another person apart, because you don't know mentally how it can affect somebody."

Will Krystle D'Souza return in Dhurandhar 2?

In a previous conversation with Galatta, Krystle D'Souza was asked whether there was any chance of her involvement in the next part of the film. The actress expressed her excitement and gave an intriguing response. While she didn't directly answer the question, Krystle did hint that news about the sequel and further projects will be announced soon.
