The infamous family spat between the comedy king, Krushna Abhishek and his mama, Bollywood actor, Govinda have become the talk of the town for quite some time now. Their indifference had first made the headlines when Krushna Abhishek, who is a part of The Kapil Sharma Show, had refused to perform on the show when his uncle, Govinda was invited as the guest.
However, things had not stopped over here. Krushna Abhishek's wife, Kashmera Shah and Govinda's wife, Sunita Ahuja had gotten into a verbal spat while defending their husbands. And, things had taken an ugly turn when Sunita Ahuja had said that she does not even wish to see Krushna's face ever. And now, the comedian poked fun at his ongoing spat with his Chi Chi mama while talking about his family connections in the industry.

In the latest episode of The Kapil Sharma Show, Bollywood actors, Rani Mukerji, Saif Ali Khan, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Sharvari Wagh graced the show for the promotions of their film, Bunty Aur Babli 2. While talking to them, Krushna Abhishek, who plays the role of 'Sapna' in the show took a dig at his strained relations with his maternal uncle, Govinda.
Just like every time, Krushna Abhishek left no stone unturned to entertain the guests and viewers with his funny acts. While doing the same, he made fun of his ongoing spat. He told the viewers that he knows many things about the industry as his family is involved in acting. However, that's a different issue that they don't consider him as a part of their family. In his words:
“Mereko film industry ka sab pata rehta hai, meri poori family film industry mein hai. Woh alag baat hai aaj kal main family mein nahi hoon.''

Earlier, while talking to the Bombay Times, Krushna Abhishek had clarified his take on why he had refused to perform when his uncle, Govinda was invited on The Kapil Sharma Show as the guest. He had said:
"I learnt about Chi Chi mama coming on the show around 10 days ago. Since Sunita mami wasn't accompanying him, the team thought that I would have no qualms performing. However, the incident has left a bad taste in my mouth. Last year, she didn't want me to perform in front of them, but this time, I had reservations. I had a strong relationship with mama, and the enmity has affected me badly. When the relationship between two people is strained, it's difficult to perform comedy. Besides, mama might take offence to my jokes."
After Krushna Abhishek had refused to make an appearance on The Kapil Sharma Show owing to his differences with Govinda, the latter had shared an official statement. He had expressed his disappointment and had stated:
"I am utterly sad to talk about this in public, but it is high time that the truth came out. I read the report about my nephew (Krushna Abhishek) not performing on a TV show as I was invited as a guest. He also spoke about our relationship. His statement had many defamatory comments and was thoughtless."

For the unversed, the family spat between Govinda and his nephew, Krushna Abhishek had come out in the open when Govinda and his wife, Sunita had missed Krushna and Kashmera's twins, Krishaang and Raayan's first birthday bash.
