Kritika Kamra Returns To Work Within A Month Of Her Wedding With Gaurav Kapur, 'Busy Days Ahead...'

Much-celebrated television actress, Kritika Kamra, who is recognised for her powerful performance in projects like Reporters, Mitron, Bheed, Kitani Mohabbat Hai, Tandav and more recently made headlines after she tied the knot with sports presenter, Gaurav Kapur. For the unversed, the couple got married on March 11, 2026, and within a month the two have officially returned to work. Well, Kritika recently opened up about the same.

Kritika Kamra breaks silence on returning to work within a month of her marriage

Kritika Kamra is currently busy promoting her upcoming series, Matka King, alongside Vijay Varma, Gulshan Grover and more. During the same, when the much-loved actress was asked about her marriage and short post-wedding vacation with Gaurav Kapur, Kritika Kamra, describing it as beautiful shared:

"It was a beautiful and special time for me personally but I was always sure that I wouldn’t take a long break pre- and post-wedding."

Further, she explained that even her now-husband, Gaurav Kapur has returned to work. For the unversed, Gaurav Kapur is one of the most familiar faces in the world of sports journalism. Gaurav is currently involved in the ongoing IPL 2026. Kritika Kamra also mentioned that her upcoming days are going to be very busy and hectic; however, she is excited for it. In her words:

"Gaurav and I are both back to doing what we love with new energy. I’m really excited to share more about ‘Matka King’ and going back to set for my upcoming film that I’ve been training for. Busy days ahead but I wouldn’t have it any other way."

Kritika Kamra and Gaurav Kapur sparked dating buzz months before their wedding; however, the couple never confirmed anything. Some reports also claim that the two met through mutual friends and eventually fell in love. It was only in December 2025, when the actress shared a photo with her partner. In the caption, she revealed that she is enjoying her breakfast nowadays. Later, on New Year 2026, the rumours intensified when the couple celebrated it together.

After weeks of speculation, Kritika Kamra and Gaurav Kapur tied the knot in an intimate ceremony held at their house. The ceremony was attended by a few of their industry friends. It is worth noting that their private wedding ceremony was followed by a grand reception, where the couple danced their hearts out. 

A day after their wedding, Gaurav Kapur had an interview with Manifest India, during which he recalled his first conversation with Kritika Kamra. He revealed that talking to the actress was very easy and they ended up having a conversation for nearly an hour. The sports presenter was quoted as saying:

"I remember the first time we spoke very clearly. We talked for an hour, and it was just easy. What surprised me was her calmness. I’m very reactive, very instant, and she has a long view on life. We complement each other that way. Commitment now means having her back always, making sure she can be the best version of herself. She’s the plane- I just try to be the tailwind pushing her forward."
